with any second handle positioned on a substantially opposite sides of said first closed side;
a nesting second receptacle having:
walls defining a second closed side,
an open bottom; and
a second open top;
wherein said second closed side tapers inward from said first open top to said open bottom; and wherein said nesting second receptacle is removably positioned on top of and within said first receptacle such that an outside top edge of said second closed side contacts said first open top such that a seal is created between said second closed side and said first open top.
2 . The spill resistant vomit container of claim 1 , further comprising a bag having a bag opening wherein said bag is positioned within said first receptacle, said nesting second receptacle is positioned within said bag, the ends of said bag opening extend over said first open top of said first receptacle and is located between said outside top edge of second closed side and said first open top when said nesting second receptacle is removably positioned on top of and within said first receptacle.
3 . The spill resistant vomit container of claim 1 , wherein said first closed side is substantially 1 to 5 times the length of said second closed side.
4 . The spill resistant vomit container of claim 1 , wherein said second open top has a diameter substantially 1 to 2 times the diameter of said open bottom.
5 . The spill resistant vomit container of claim 1 , wherein said first receptacle and said nesting second receptacle comprise injection-molded plastic material.
6 . A spill resistant vomit container comprising:
a bowl having:
a first bottom surface;
a first radiused sidewall extending upward from said first bottom surface to a top bowl rim; and
a first and second opposed handles positioned on the outside of said first radiused sidewall; and
a splash guard having:
a second open bottom; and
a second radiused sidewall extending upward from said open bottom to a top splash guard rim, wherein said splash guard is removably positioned within said bowl such that a seal is created between said bowl and said splash guard.
7 . The spill resistant vomit container of claim 6 , further comprising a bag having a bag opening wherein said bag is positioned within said bowl, said splash guard is positioned within said bag, said bag opening extends over said first radiused sidewall of said bowl and is located between said top slash guard rim and said top bowl rim when said splash guard is removably positioned within said bowl.
8 . The spill resistant vomit container of claim 6 , wherein said first radiused sidewall is substantially 1 to 5 times the length of said second radiused sidewall.
9 . The spill resistant vomit container of claim 6 , wherein the top edge of said second radiused sidewall has a diameter substantially 1 to 2 times the diameter of the second open bottom.
10 . The spill resistant vomit container of claim 6 , wherein said bowl and said splash guard comprises injection-molded plastic material.
11 . A vomit container bowl having:
a bottom surface; and a radiused sidewall extending upward from said bottom surface to a top bowl rim; and an improvement comprising:
said radiused sidewall having a substantially outward turned lip extending continuously about said top bowl rim;
a first and second opposed handles positioned on the outside of said radiused sidewall on substantially opposite sides of said radiused sidewall; and
a lid removably positioned on top of said radiused sidewall such that a seal is created between said lid and said substantially outward turned lip across the length of said substantially outward turned lip.
12 . The vomit container bowl of claim 11 , further comprising a bag substantially extending to said bottom surface and extending beyond and over said substantially outward turned lip.
13 . The vomit container bowl of claim 11 , further comprising a removable rim radially disposed along the length of said outward turned lip wherein said removable rim contacts said bag at said substantially outward turned lip and removably attaches to said substantially outward turned lip to secure said bag to said substantially outward turned lip.
14 . The vomit container bowl of claim 11 , wherein said top bowl rim has a diameter substantially 1 to 2 times the diameter of the bottom end of said radiused sidewall.
15 . The vomit container bowl of claim 11 , wherein said vomit container bowl being of an injection-molded plastic material.
16 . The vomit container bowl of claim 11 , further comprising a spill/splash guard having walls defining a closed sidewall, and open top and open bottom, wherein said spill/splash guard is removably positioned on top of said radiused sidewall, said open top contacts said radiused sidewall such that a seal is created between said open top and said radiused sidewall, said closed sidewall and said open bottom extend below said top bowl rim, said closed sidewall is 1 to 5 times the length of said radiused sidewall.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
