Abstract

An electronic apparatus is provided which includes a fuel cell device configured to supply electrical power to the electronic apparatus; a temperature sensor configured to measure, other than at the fuel cell device, temperature within the electronic apparatus; a power storage unit configured to store electrical power generated by the fuel cell device; a remaining power detector configured to measure remaining electrical power in the power storage unit; and a controller configured to control operation of the fuel cell device based on output from the temperature sensor and remaining power detector.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An electronic apparatus comprising:
a fuel cell device configured to supply electrical power to the electronic apparatus; a temperature sensor configured to measure, other than at the fuel cell device, temperature within the electronic apparatus; a power storage unit configured to store electrical power generated by the fuel cell device; a remaining power detector configured to measure remaining electrical power in the power storage unit; and a controller configured to control operation of the fuel cell device based on output from the temperature sensor and remaining power detector.

2 . An electronic apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a display unit configured to display an operating state of the fuel cell device.

3 . An electronic apparatus comprising:
a fuel cell device configured to supply electrical power to the electronic apparatus; an image pickup device configured to convert an image into an electric signal; a temperature sensor configured to measure a temperature at the image pickup device or proximate thereof; and a controller configured to control operation of the fuel cell device based on output from the temperature sensor.

4 . An electronic apparatus comprising:
a fuel cell device configured to supply electrical power to the electronic apparatus; an optical lens system; a temperature sensor configured to measure temperature at the optical lens system or proximate thereof; and a controller configured to control operation of the fuel cell device base on output from the temperature sensor.

5 . An electronic apparatus comprising:
a fuel cell device configured to supply electrical power to the electronic apparatus; an operating circuit configured to control a main body of the electronic apparatus and for performing various types of operations; a temperature sensor configured to measure temperature at the operating circuit or proximate thereof; and a controller configured to control operation of the fuel cell device based on output from the temperature sensor.

6 . An electronic apparatus comprising:
a fuel cell device configured to supply electrical power to the electronic apparatus; a recording unit configured to record information on a recording medium; a temperature sensor configured to measure temperature at the recording unit or proximate thereof; and a controller configured to control operation of the fuel cell device based on output from the temperature sensor.

7 . An electronic apparatus comprising:
a fuel cell device configured to supply electrical power to the electronic apparatus; a holder configured to allow a user to hold the electronic apparatus; a temperature sensor configured to measure temperature at the holder or proximate thereof; and a controller configured to control operation of the fuel cell device based on output from the temperature sensor.

8 . A method for controlling a fuel cell integrated within and configured to supply power to an electronic apparatus, wherein the apparatus also includes a power storage unit configured to store the power generated by the fuel cell device, the method comprising:
measuring within the electronic apparatus a temperature at a measuring point other than at the fuel cell device; determining an amount of remaining power stored in the power storage unit; and controlling operation of the fuel cell device based on the temperature measured at the point other than at the fuel cell and based on the determined amount of remaining power stored in the power storage unit.

9 . A computer readable medium containing computer-executable instructions for controlling a fuel cell integrated within and configured to supply power to an electronic apparatus, wherein the apparatus also includes a power storage unit configured to store the power generated by the fuel cell device, the medium comprising:
computer-executable instructions for measuring within the electronic apparatus a temperature at a measuring point other than at the fuel cell device; computer-executable instructions for determining an amount of remaining power stored in the power storage unit; and computer-executable instructions for controlling operation of the fuel cell device based on the temperature measured at the point other than at the fuel cell and based on the determined amount of remaining power stored in the power storage unit.
