Abstract

A mobile telephone comprising a camera, and a light emitting diode, wherein the light emitting diode operates both as an incoming call indicator lamp and as a camera flash, and both the light emitting diode and the camera are arranged on one face of the mobile telephone, and the one face is the side that faces a direction to take a photograph.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A mobile telephone comprising:
a camera, and a light emitting diode, wherein the light emitting diode operates as both as an incoming call indicator lamp and as a camera flash, and both the light emitting diode and the camera are arranged on one face of the mobile telephone, and the one face is the side that faces a direction take a photograph.

2 . A mobile telephone according to claim 1 , further comprising a display component,
wherein the light emitting diode is arranged at a back face of the display component.

3 . A mobile telephone according to claim 2 , further comprising an operation component, wherein the display component and the operation component are configured to be able to be housed so as to face each other when in a folded state.

       4 . A mobile telephone according to claim 1 ,
wherein the light emitting diode lights in one or more prescribed patterns and in one or more prescribed colors during receipt of incoming call, and the light emitting diode lights during flash use.

       5 . A mobile telephone according to claim 1 ,
wherein a current flowing through the light emitting diode during flash use is grater than a current flowing through the light emitting diode during receipt of incoming call.

       6 . A mobile telephone according to claim 1 ,
wherein a viewing angle of the light emitting diode is greater than a field angle of the camera.

       7 . A mobile telephone according to claim 1 ,
wherein a lens for adjusting directional characteristics, which increases illuminance at the periphery of a region irradiated by the light emitting diode, is attached to the front of the light emitting diode.

       8 . A mobile telephone according to claim 1 ,
wherein the light emitting diode is an RGB tri-color light emitting diode having one or more red light emitting diode chips, one or more green light emitting diode chips, and one or more blue light emitting diode chips.
