Electronic device holder

Abstract

An electronic device holder for holding thereon an electronic device includes a fixed bracket, which can be fixedly mounted on the wall or ceiling with screws or the like and has upright locating rods, and a movable bracket, which is coupled to the fixed bracket and has upright locating rods and is movable relative to the fixed bracket between a first position where the locating rods of the fixed bracket and the movable brackets are respectively disengaged from the electronic device put on the electronic device holder, and a second position where the locating rods of the fixed bracket and the movable bracket are respectively forced into engagement with the electronic device to lock the electronic device to the electronic device holder.

1 . An electronic device holder for holding an electronic device, the electronic device holder comprising: 
 a fixed bracket having a plurality of locating rods; and    a movable bracket coupled to said fixed bracket, said movable bracket having a plurality of locating rods;    wherein said movable bracket is movable relative to said fixed bracket between a first position where the locating rods of said fixed bracket and said movable brackets are respectively disengaged from the electronic device carried on said fixed bracket and said movable bracket, and a second position where the locating rods of said fixed bracket and said movable bracket are respectively engaged with the electronic device carried on said fixed bracket and said movable bracket to lock said electronic device to said electronic device holder.

The electronic device holder as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said fixed bracket comprises a flat base and the locating rods of said fixed bracket extending upward from the flat base of said fixed bracket; said movable bracket comprises a flat base and the locating rods of said movable bracket extending upward from the flat base of said movable bracket.  
     
     
         3 . The electronic device holder as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said fixed bracket comprises a plurality of mounting holes for fixation to an external surface with fastening means.

The electronic device holder as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said fixed bracket comprises a plurality of openings; said movable bracket comprises a plurality of retainers respectively suspending in the openings of said fixed bracket for allowing movable of said movable bracket relative to said fixed bracket between said first position and said second position, said retainers being respectively hooked on a peripheral edge of each of the openings of said fixed bracket when said movable bracket is moved to said second position.

The electronic device holder as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said movable bracket comprises a stop edge, which is stopped against one side of said fixed bracket to stop further movement of said movable bracket toward said fixed bracket when said movable bracket is moved to said first position.

The electronic device holder as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said fixed bracket and said movable bracket each have a through hole, the through holes of said fixed bracket and said movable bracket being aligned in line for the mounting of lock means when said movable bracket is set in said second position.  
     
     
         7 . The electronic device holder as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said fixed bracket has an insertion slot at one side thereof through which said movable bracket is inserted and moved between said first position and said second position.  
     
     
         8 . The electronic device holder as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the locating rods of said fixed bracket and said movable bracket each have a retaining head protruding sideways.  
     
     
         9 . The electronic device holder as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said movable bracket comprises a grip.  
     
     
         10 . The electronic device holder as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said movable bracket comprises two protruding blocks disposed at two opposite lateral sides for gripping.
