Abstract

An improved content storage and packaging system design and methodology is presented. This comprehensive storage and packaging system solution includes designs for container, closure, and holding apparatus. Container, closure and holding apparatus are interlocked together in mated combinations with interlocking connectors at connection hubs. This storage and packaging system includes design and methodology for secure and convenient collection, sorting, storage, presentation, and flexible transport of reclosable containers and the container's content. A plurality of container portability and secure transport is enhanced with the implementation of interlocking connection hubs. A single closed container joins into an interlocking container assembly at connection hubs. Container assemblies range from a single column, row or tube to an entire three dimensional spatial interlocking matrix. Use of the connection hubs with holding apparatus devices such as tote trays and carousel disks provide capabilities for the integration of containers, container assemblies, and holding apparatus or devices within this storage system solution. Modular design of holding apparatus provides for the controlled, organized, and flexible growth of this storage system solution. Together, functionally integrated containers, closures, and holding apparatus for this storage system solution provide for a well organized, convenient, portable, and user reconfigurable collection and worksite presentation of container contents including nuts, bolts, electrical connectors, tooling, hardware, and other collectables.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
. A method for interlocking a plurality of container units and holding apparatus units together at their designated connection hubs, with each reclosable container unit including one or more male connection hub and one or more female connection hub, comprising the steps of:
positioning two container units or one container unit and one holding apparatus unit adjacent to each other so that a male connector of one unit aligns and rests within the female connector of the other unit, and

. according to claim 1 wherein imposing opposite rotational coordinated movements on the matched connectors, whereby said two units will be interlocking attached at the connection hub as an assembly, and

. according to claim 2 wherein imposing simultaneous or coordinated stepped movements of one or more linear directed movement and one or more rotational movements which oppose another rotational movement on the interlocked connectors, whereby said two units will detach at the connection hub, and

. according to claim 2 wherein positioning two container assemblies that are adjacent to each other so that a male connector of one assembly aligns and rests within the female connector of the other assembly, and

. according to claim 4 wherein imposing opposite rotational coordinated movements on the matched connectors, whereby said two assemblies will be interlocking attached at the connection hub and

. according to claim 5 wherein imposing simultaneous or coordinated stepped movements of one or more linear directed movement and one or more rotational movements which oppose another rotational movement on the interlocked connectors, whereby said two assemblies will detach at the connection hub.

. An interlocking container assembly of standalone functionally enabled container units, each container unit with a closure, and each container unit comprising:

. according to claim 7 wherein a container body with one or more access openings to container contents, with at least one access opening with engaging threads and with at least one interlocking connection hub, and

. according to claim 7 wherein a closure with engaging threads and an interlocking connection hub, and

. according to claim 7 wherein means for interlocking a male or female connection hub from one container body to the connection hub, of opposite gender, for a closure from another container, and

. according to claim 7 wherein imposing rotational motion will threading engage a closure to a threaded access opening of a container, and

. according to claim 7 wherein imposing rotational motion will interlock one container closure's connection hub to another container body's connection hub, as an interlocking container assembly, and

. according to claim 12 wherein imposing one or more linear and one or more opposing rotational simultaneous or coordinated stepped movements on the interlocked connection hub, whereby said two container units will detach as an assembly at the connection hub.

. A Storage system with interlocking connection hubs comprised of interlocking one matched child resistant closure fastener with another matched child resistant closure fastener for an interlocking connection hub of interlocking fasteners comprising the units:

. according to claim 14 wherein containers, with one or more closable threading access openings to container content and with one or more interlocking fasteners mate for an interlocking connection hub, and

. according to claim 14 wherein closures, which close said containers with matching threads to comprise a container unit, and with an interlocking fastener matched mate for an interlocking connection hub, and

. according to claim 14 wherein apparatus devices, with one or more interlocking fasteners as an interlocking connection hub, for holding one or a plurality of container units, by mating with an interlocking fastener matched mate for an interlocking connection hub to one or more container units, and for holding or transporting a container unit and container assemblies comprising:

. according to claim 17 wherein carrier trays and carousel disks in the shape of rectangular and circular plates with interlocking fasteners to a connection hub, and

. according to claim 17 wherein modular component constructed carousel disk stands, comprised of an integrated system design of support poles or spindles, carousel disks, support plates or support bars, for supporting rotational movement of carousel disks at predetermined incremental heights, and with incremental horizontal spacing, and

. according to claim 17 wherein carrier trays and carousel disks in the shape of rectangular and circular plates with slotted cutouts, forming fingers for supporting the raised collars of container necks or container bodies.
