Rack
Abstract
The invention concerns a rack for hanging out clothing to be dried, in particular laundry or towels, comprising at least one pair of mainly parallel, elongated, mating clamping elements, one end of each of which is fixed to the support, the mating clamping elements defining a narrow, slot-shaped space in between for the clamping of the laundry. The mating clamping elements of each pair can be styled as springs pre-stressed towards each other. It is also possible that several pairs of clamping elements are fixed to the support and the clamping elements of adjoining pairs are interconnected. Moreover the rack provides mediums for suspension of the support with the fixed clamping elements, at a certain distance from the ground, for instance in the shape of a collapsible stand or a number of suspension hooks.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 30 . (canceled)
31 . A rack system for hanging clothing to be dried, said rack system comprising:
at least one pair of substantially parallel, elongated, mating clamping elements; a support mountable to one end of each of said mating clamping elements; and wherein said mating clamping elements therebetween define a narrow, slot-shaped space for the clamping of the clothing.
32 . The rack system as set forth in claim 1 , wherein said free ends of said mating clamping elements are bent apart in order to form a widened in-feed part of said slot-shaped space.
33 . The rack system as set forth in claim 1 , wherein said mating clamping elements are springs, said springs being pre-stressed towards each other.
34 . The rack system as set forth in claim 1 , wherein said mating clamping elements are made of a material from the group consisting of threaded steel, rolled section steel, and plastic.
35 . The rack system as set forth in claim 1 , wherein that several pairs of clamping elements are attachable and movable along said support.
36 . The rack system as set forth in claim 35 , wherein said pairs of clamping elements are situated in a common, mainly horizontal plane, and said clamping elements of adjoining pairs are interconnected.
37 . The rack system as set forth in claim 36 , wherein said interconnected clamping elements of said adjoining pairs substantially form a U-shape, of which the bottom is turned away from said support.
38 . The rack system as set forth in claim 35 , wherein said pairs of clamping elements are situated in a common, mainly vertical plane and are swivellably attachable to said support.
39 . The rack system as set forth in claim 1 further comprising mediums for suspending said support at a certain distance from a ground and said clamping elements fitted thereto.
40 . The rack system as set forth in claim 39 , wherein said suspension mediums are shaped like a collapsible stand, comprising two mainly U-shaped frames, swivellably connected around an axle with their free ends.
41 . A rack system for hanging clothing to be dried, said rack system comprising:
at least one pair of substantially parallel, elongated, mating clamping elements, said mating clamping elements therebetween define a narrow, slot-shaped space for the clamping of the clothing; a support mountable to one end of each of said mating clamping elements; a plurality of suspension mediums for suspending said support at a certain distance from a ground and said clamping elements fitted thereto; and wherein said suspension mediums are shaped like a collapsible stand, comprising two mainly U-shaped frames featuring legs, swivellably connected around an axle with their free ends.
42 . The rack system as set forth in claim 41 , wherein said support stretches mainly parallel to said swivel axle, between said legs of said U-shaped frames, and said clamping elements are mainly directed diagonally to said swivel axle of said stand.
43 . The rack system as set forth in claim 41 , wherein said support stretches mainly diagonally on said swivel axle of said stand, and said clamping elements are directed mainly parallel to said swivel axle.
44 . The rack system as set forth in claim 41 , wherein said suspension mediums are hook-shaped suspension elements.
45 . The rack system as set forth In claim 44 , wherein said support stretches between said hook-shaped suspension elements and said clamping elements.
46 . The rack system as set forth in claim 41 , wherein said suspension mediums further comprising at least one telescopically extending clamping bar.
47 . The rack system as set forth in claim 41 , wherein said supports are connected back to back, in such a way that said clamping elements fixed to them mainly stretch in opposite directions in one common plane, and said suspension mediums are formed by at least two mainly U-shaped frames, each connected with said clamping elements on one side of said supports.
48 . The rack system as set forth in claim 41 , wherein said suspension mediums further comprising a mounting plate to be fixed to a wall, defining a mainly vertical axle around which said clamping elements swivels.
49 . The rack system as set forth in claim 41 , wherein said suspension mediums further comprising a pipe-shaped support, to which a number of supports have been fixed, spread circumferentially.
50 . A rack system for hanging clothing to be dried, said; rack system comprising:
at least one pair of substantially parallel, elongated, mating clamping elements, said mating clamping elements therebetween define a narrow, slot-shaped space for the clamping of the clothing; a support mountable to one end of each of said mating clamping elements; a plurality of suspension mediums for suspending said support at a certain distance from a ground and said clamping elements fitted thereto, said suspension mediums being hook-shaped suspension elements; a mounting plate attachable to a wall, said mounting plate defining a mainly vertical axle around which said clamping elements swivels; and wherein said suspension mediums are shaped like a collapsible stand, comprising two mainly U-shaped frames featuring legs, swivellably connected around an axle with their free ends.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
