Abstract
An assembly for tensioning sheet material such as pvc, canvas and other textiles for advertising banners and other signage includes a frame with a channel which has a narrow opening. The sheet material is located in the channel and is held by means of a strip having feet or other formations which engage under the narrow opening to anchor the sheet material.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An assembly for the tensioning of sheet material in a frame having a channel adapted to receive the sheet material characterised in that
a flexible strip is provided which includes one or more formations which are a force-fitted into the channel to hold the sheet material therein, and which on release from the step of force-fitting expands against the sheet material for a positive anchorage.
2 . The assembly according to claim 1 characterised in that the channel has an opening which is narrower than the channel and the strip has feet which engage under the opening when released from the force-fitting step into the channel.
