Abstract

A two-stage percussion device for a paint ball gun includes a piston tube and a push rod in conjunction with a barrel. A separation ring is disposed between the middle and the rear sections of the barrel. The piston tube is accommodated in the middle section of the barrel. The push rod is disposed in the rear section of the barrel. A plunger is provided at the front end of the push rod. The rear section of the push rod passes through the separation ring and is disposed with a piston block. An air storage space is formed between the plunger and the separation ring.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A two-stage percussion device for a paint ball gun comprising a piston tube and a push rod operating in conjunction with a barrel;
 the barrel being a hollow tube including front, middle, and rear sections, a separation ring being disposed between the middle and the rear sections of the barrel; the piston tube being a hollow tube and accommodated in the middle section of the barrel; the push rod accommodated in the rear section of the barrel having at a front end disposed a plunger to relatively block a rear end of the piston tube, a rear section of the push rod passing through the separation ring of the barrel and being disposed with a piston block to slide in the rear section of the barrel, an air storage space being formed inside the barrel between the plunger and the separation ring.

       2 . The two-stage percussion device for a paint ball gun of claim 1 , wherein a hole to drop paint balls and a recuperation air hole are disposed in the middle section of the barrel, a percussion air inlet being disposed in front of the separation ring of the barrel, an air inlet to push in the paint balls being disposed in the rear section of the barrel, an air discharge hole being provided at a rear end of the barrel.

       3 . The two-stage percussion device for a paint ball gun of claim 1 , wherein air enters from the air inlet for pushing the paint balls in the barrel into the rear section of the barrel to push the piston block of the push rod, the air also entering from the percussion air inlet into the air storage space inside the barrel for the push rod to push the piston tube to slide in the barrel and further to push the paint ball and increase the capacity of the air storage space, once the pressure and capacity of the air mount up to become sufficient to fire the paint ball, the air entering from the recuperation air hole into the middle section of the barrel to return the piston tube to its original position, and waste gas being released form the air discharge hole.
