Ceiling fan air purification system
Abstract
A ceiling fan which comprises of one and or two air purification systems for filtering Particulates and or odor's from the air. Which a plurality of point of ionization sources are positioned in the proximity of the periphery of an air flow which channel's through the fan blades directional air flow of a ceiling fan. A motorized ceiling fan mounted close to the ceiling of a room which draws dust and or odors in the air from an upward location into the air purification system, and is forced through several inlet's, and is discharged back into the ceiling fan through the blades primary air flow through one or more outlets An auxiliary ceiling fan motor that has several fan blades is preferably suspended between one and or two air purification systems that produce downstream direction from the plurality of point an ionization source within the air purification system. The particulates collected on the surface of either one and or two air purification systems are electrostatic ally charged in an opposite direction with the respect's to the ground. The secondary purified air flow that is created from the ceiling fan air purification system is recirculated throughout the room to help provide cooling in the summer from the downdraft to create wind chill, as well as during the winter from the updraft to reclaim lost heat. The purified air flow that is created from the ceiling fan air purification system will help reduce smoke, dust, pollen, and other particulates, which will uniformly freshen the rooms air quality. To help stabilize the ceiling fan from wobbling due to the down rod a counter weight design can be used to add balance to three or more fan blades on rotation, to help neutralize the wobble within the center of gravity of the ceiling fans motor housing.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A ceiling fan air purification system for filtering particulates from air flowing in an upstream to a downstream direction in an air flow channel, comprising:
a plurality of point ionization sources, each of said plurality of point ionization sources are located in the proximity of the periphery of wherein said air flow channel and are being oriented to generate ion's located in the proximity of wherein said air flow channel in the general direction upstream from each respective of said plurality of the point ionization sources, wherein said predominately having an electrical charge with the respect's to the ground; a particulate collection surface positioned within wherein said air flow channel having a downstream direction from said plurality of the point ionization sources, said particulates collection surfaces being electrostatic ally charged in an opposite direction with the respect's to the ground than wherein said electrical charged of said ion's; an ion trap positioned within said air flow channeled between said plurality of ionization source's and said particulate collection surface, said ion trap being relatively electrostatic ally neutral as compared with the said particulate collection surface and said ion's, comprised of one and or two filtration systems as a means for generating a secondary air flow having a downstream flow and upstream flow relative to said means from generating said secondary air flow; and a plurality of point ionization sources are positioned wherein said secondary air flow generating a primary air flow.
2 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 1 where each of said plurality of point ionization sources comprises an ionization head having a major longitudinal axis.

A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 2 in which said ionization head is oriented in an orientation angle with the respect's to said upstream to downstream direction and wherein said orientation angle is not more than sixty degree's inward toward said air flow channel and not more than ninety degree's outward away from said air flow channel.

A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 2 which further comprises of a plurality of flow channel's, one of each of said plurality of flow channel's at least partially surrounding at least a portion of each respective one of said plurality of point ionization source's generating a primary air flow comprises at least one and or two primary motor's operable to rotate at least one fan blade in each purification system.
5 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 4 wherein said means for generating a secondary air flow comprises at least one and or two primary motor's operable to rotate at least one fan blade in each purification system.
6 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 4 where said means for generating a secondary air flow comprises at least one and or two primary motor's operable to rotate at least one fan blade in each purification system said primary air flow mixes with said downstream air flow of said secondary air flow.
7 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 4 wherein said downstream air flow of said primary air flow mixes with said upstream air flow of said secondary air flow.
8 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 2 wherein each of said plurality of flow channel's has a major longitudinal axis and wherein said major longitudinal axis of each of said plurality of flow channel's is generally parallel to said major longitudinal axis of said ionization head in each purification system.
9 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 8 wherein said ionization head comprises a multi-point ionization head in each purification system.
10 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 4 further comprising of a two separate fan system's for operative use with said air flow channel for moving said air flow in said upstream to downstream direction through said air flow channel.
11 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 4 wherein said particulate collection surface comprise at least one and or two primary motor's operable to rotate at least one fan blade in each purification system comprises a filter.
12 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 11 wherein said particulate collection surface comprises at least one and or two primary motor's operable to rotate at least one fan blade in each purification system comprises a filter, wherein said plurality of inlet's and outlet's for moving said primary air flow there through, and wherein one each of said plurality of ionized filtration system's is individually positioned proximal to one each of plurality of outlet's.

A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 12 wherein said plurality of inlet's and outlet's for moving said primary secondary air flow there through, and wherein one each of each of said plurality of ionized filtration system's is individually positioned proximal to one each of plurality of outlet's to control the desired purification in the room.
14 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 13 wherein said means for selectively purifying at least one and or two purification system's at least one portable remote control unit communicable with said purification system's.
15 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 13 wherein at least one portable remote control unit further comprises a ceiling fan blade speed control display and one and or two primary motor's that are rotated in different orientation's by remote control wherein said plurality of inlet's and outlet's for moving said primary air flow thereto.
16 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 15 wherein said at least one portable remote control unit further comprises a display, a ceiling fan blade speed control's carried thereby, wherein a desired air purification may be set via said control's and displayed on said display, and wherein said plurality of ionized filtration system's are responsive thereto.
17 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 13 where said at least one portable remote control unit is wireless.
18 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 17 further comprising a wireless receiving unit carried by said at least one or two air purification system's and a wireless transmitting unit carried by said at least one portable remote control unit, wherein said wireless transmitting unit transmits a wireless signal detectable by said wireless receiving unit.
19 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 18 wherein said wireless signal is an infrared frequency.
20 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 18 wherein said wireless signal is an radio frequency.
21 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 1 wherein said at least one and or two purification system's comprising at least one inlet and at least one outlet for moving and or transferring said means for generating a secondary air flow.
22 . A ceiling fan purification system as in claim 1 further comprising means for filtering said primary air flow.
23 . A ceiling fan purification system for filtering a room comprising in combination:
a) at least one support means; b) at least one auxiliary motor; c) at least one and or two purification system's isolated from and mounted downwards and or upwards mounted location of said at least one auxiliary motor, said at least one and or two purification system's comprising; i) at least one motor per air purification system at least one primary fan blade per air purification system adapted for creating a primary air flow; ii) at least one filter system per purification system for filtering said primary air flow; iii) means for regulating said at least one and or two air purification systems via at least one and or two input's for the purpose of selectively regulating the air filtration of the said primary air flow; and iv) mean's for supporting said at least one auxiliary motor; and d) at least one and or two secondary fan blades adapted on different rotation's by said at least one auxiliary motor to generate an upward secondary air flow for mixing with said downward primary air flow.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
