Seat area
Abstract
A seat area has a form shaped by an elastic deformation of at least one flat blank ( 2 ) delimited by two concentric arches with a center angle from 10° to 170°, while their ends continue by tangents terminated by normal lines. An elastic deformation of the blank ( 2 ) into the shape of a seat area ( 1 ) is obtained by fastening the flat blank ( 2 ) in at least three points of a carrying structure ( 5 ). The seat area can be made as a molded piece, or of an elastic single-layer stuff, or of a sandwich-type material. The seat area has a maximum adaptability to the forms and dimensions of the user.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A seat area fastened on a fixed or on a moving structure of a sitting furniture article,
characterized in that the seat area ( 1 ) gets a form shaped by an elastic deformation of at least one flat blank ( 2 ) consisting of at least a single piece, delimited by two concentric circular arches ( 2 . 1 , 2 . 2 ) with a center angle α=10° to 170°, the tangents (t 1 , t 2 , t′ 1 , t′ 2 ) continuing in terminal points (A, A′, B, B′) of the arches ( 2 . 1 ) 2 . 2 ), and by normal lines (n 1 , n 2 ) are situated in the deformed condition on a conical areas with top point V, in the center of the connecting line of inner extremities of both normal lines (n 1 , n 2 ) with a top point angle γ=0 to 10°, while the intersection line of the seat area ( 1 ) with a vertical symmetry plane forms an angle β=15° to 90° with the level plane.
2 . A seat according to claim 1 ,
characterized in that the elastic deformation of the flat blank ( 2 ) to the shape of a seat area ( 1 ) is obtained by fastening the flat blank ( 2 ) in at least three points of the carrying structure ( 5 ) namely in fastening by the normal lines (n 1 , n 2 ) and in fastening at the central part ( 3 ).
3 . A seat area according to claim 1 or 2 ,
characterized in that at least one sleeve ( 4 ) fitting with a hinge permitting a rocking movement of the sleeve ( 4 ) in all directions e.g. by a joint.
4 . A seat area according to claim 3 ,
characterized in that the element ( 4 . 1 ) is fitted with a hinge permitting a rocking movement of the sleeve ( 4 ) in all directions e.g. by a joint.
5 . A seat area according to claim 1 or 2 , characterized in that the seat area ( 1 ) is formed of two sections ( 2 . 3 , 2 . 4 ) of the flat blank ( 2 ), both sections ( 2 . 3 , 2 . 4 ) are compatible with each other and are fitted at the place of contact with a mechanism ( 6 ) allowing to change the width “w” of the seat area ( 1 ).
6 . A seat area according to claim 1 or 2 ,
characterized in that seat area ( 1 ) is formed as a molded piece.
7 . A seat area according to claim 1 or 2 , characterized in that the flat blank ( 2 ) is made of an elastic single-layer stuff.
8 . A seat area according to claim 1 or 2 ,
characterized in that the flat blank ( 2 ) is made of a sandwich type of material.
9 . A seat area according to claim 1 or 2 ,
characterized in that the rims of the flat blank ( 2 ) can get a modified form.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
