Image commercial transactions system and method

Abstract

An image commercial transactions system and method that are able to implement sales to the purpose of the seller. An e-commerce system for selling a picture and a handling condition specific to the picture, both being recorded on a predetermined recording medium in a predetermined format. The picture to be sold and the handling condition are accepted by an acceptor in a digital format. When a transaction is established, an accounting company carries out an accounting electronically for a purchaser of the picture and the e-commerce condition, thereby both of the picture to be sold and the handling condition are sold as digital data so that the purchased picture is used in a handling manner as intended by the seller. Consequently, the selling of the picture can be made so as to satisfy the intention of the seller.

1 . A distribution method for distributing moving picture program data, the method comprising the steps of: 
 distributing moving picture program data to a server of a user, the moving picture program data including moving picture data, program information data and moving picture service data;    displaying a program table based on the program information data in the server for selecting and reproducing the moving picture data;    displaying an order screen based on the moving picture service data if the user selects the moving picture data from the displayed program table; the order screen including a scene or thumbnail picture of actors from the moving picture data; and    automatically transmitting order data to a station via an internet line if the user decides to order the moving picture data based on the displayed order screen.    
     
     
         2 . The distribution method according to  claim 1 , wherein a user ID is transmitted with the order data to the station and account data is transmitted back from the station to the server.  
     
     
         3 . The distribution method according to  claim 2 , wherein the account data is transmitted by electronic mail.  
     
     
         4 . The distribution method according to  claim 1 , wherein the order screen is displayed after the moving picture data has been reproduced.  
     
     
         5 . The distribution method according to  claim 1 , further comprising a step of updating an operating system of the server.  
     
     
         6 . The distribution method according to  claim 1 , further comprising the steps of: 
 storing the moving picture program data in a portable player; and    reproducing the moving picture program data on the portable player.    
     
     
         7 . A distribution method for distributing moving picture program data, the method comprising the steps of: 
 distributing moving picture program data to a user's computer, the moving picture program data including moving picture data and program information data;    displaying a program table based on the program information data on the user's computer for selecting and reproducing the moving picture data;    displaying an order screen based on a moving picture service data included in the moving picture data if the user selects the moving picture data from the displayed program table; the order screen including a scene or thumbnail picture of actors from the moving picture data; and    automatically transmitting order data to a station via an internet line if a user decides to order the moving picture data based on the displayed order screen.    
     
     
         8 . The distribution method according to  claim 7 , wherein the order screen has a first display area for the scene or thumbnail picture, a second display area indicating the presence or absence of an order, and a third display area for selecting a type of the order.  
     
     
         9 . A distribution method for distributing moving picture program data, the method comprising the steps of: 
 distributing moving picture program data to a user's server, the moving picture program data including moving picture data and program information data;    displaying a program table based on the program information data on the user's server for selecting and reproducing the moving picture data;    displaying an order screen based on moving picture service data included in the moving picture data, after reproducing the moving picture data; and    automatically transmitting order data to a station via an internet line if a user decides to order the moving picture data based on the displayed order screen.    
     
     
         10 . The distribution method according to  claim 9 , wherein a user ID is transmitted with the order data to the station and account data is transmitted back from the station to the user's server via electronic mail.  
     
     
         11 . A distribution method for distributing moving picture program data, the method comprising the steps of: 
 distributing moving picture program data to a user's computer, the moving picture program data including moving picture data and program information data;    displaying a program table based on the program information data on the user's computer for selecting and reproducing the moving picture data;    displaying an order screen based on moving picture service data included in the moving picture data, after reproducing the moving picture data; the order screen including a scene or thumbnail picture of actors from the moving picture data; and    automatically transmitting order data to a station via an internet line if a user decides to order the moving picture data based on the displayed order screen.    
     
     
         12 . The distribution method according to  claim 11 , wherein a user ID is transmitted with the order data to the station and account data is transmitted back from the station to the user's computer via electronic mail.  
     
     
         13 . A distribution method for distributing moving picture data and music content data, the method comprising the steps of: 
 storing a plurality of program data in a distribution server; the program data including moving picture data and music content data;    distributing the plurality of program data and program information data from the distribution server to a user's computer;    displaying a program table, based on the program information data on the user's computer, for selecting desired program data from the plurality of program data;    selecting and displaying desired program data from the from the program table; whereby moving picture data and music content data is reproduced on the user's computer.    
     
     
         14 . The distribution method according to  claim 13 , wherein the moving picture data and the music content data is stored in the user's computer before the moving picture data and the music content data is reproduced.  
     
     
         15 . The distribution method according to  claim 14 , wherein the moving picture data includes at least a tile picture, a scene, or an actor's picture for the moving picture.  
     
     
         16 . The distribution method according to  claim 14 , wherein the music content data includes at least a tile picture, an album jacket picture, or an artist's picture for the music content.
