Image commercial transactions system and method

Abstract

An image commercial transactions system and method that are able to implement sales to the purpose of the seller. An e-commerce system for selling a picture and a handling condition specific to the picture, both being recorded on a predetermined recording medium in a predetermined format. The picture to be sold and the handling condition are accepted by an acceptor in a digital format. When a transaction is established, an accounting company carries out an accounting electronically for a purchaser of the picture and the e-commerce condition, thereby both of the picture to be sold and the handling condition are sold as digital data so that the purchased picture is used in a handling manner as intended by the seller. Consequently, the selling of the picture can be made so as to satisfy the intention of the seller.

1 . A photographic image commercial transactions method comprising the steps of: 
 enabling a reception dealer to receive photographic image data;    selecting among a photographic image publicizing service and a photographic printing service;    enabling the reception dealer to publicize the received photographic image data via a network if the photographic image publicizing service is selected in the selection step; and    enabling the reception dealer to transfer the photographic image data to a print photographic shop if the photographic printing service is selected in the selection step, said print photographic shop is operable to print an image corresponding to the received photographic image data.    
     
     
         2 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 1  further comprising the steps of: 
 receiving a sales request for the publicized photographic image data; and    transferring the publicized photographic image data to said print photographic shop upon receiving the sales request.    
     
     
         3 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 2  further comprising the step of displaying the publicized photographic image data such that in the step of receiving the sales request, the reception dealer receives the sales request for a photographic image selected from the displayed photographic image data.  
     
     
         4 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 1 , wherein the received photographic image data is received from a digital still camera, a digital video camera, or scanning device.  
     
     
         5 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 4 , wherein said photographic image data is in a joint photographic experts group (JPEG) format, a tagged image file format (TIFF), or graphic interchange format (GIF).  
     
     
         6 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 1  further comprises the step of enabling the print photographic shop to print the received photographic image data as a print.  
     
     
         7 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 6  further comprises the step of enabling the print photographic shop to notify a user that the print is completed.  
     
     
         8 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 1 , wherein the reception dealer is enabled to publicize the photographic image data to a predetermined member.  
     
     
         9 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 1 , wherein the reception dealer the photographic image data is publicized by displaying thumb-nail images of the photographic image data.  
     
     
         10 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 9 , further comprising the step of selecting and adding a frame decoration and a text to the photographic image data if the photographic printing service is selected.  
     
     
         11 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 10 , wherein the frame decoration is a frame ornamentation.  
     
     
         12 . A photographic image commercial transaction method comprising steps of: 
 enabling a reception dealer to accept a photographic image data;    first selection step for selecting among a photographic printing service and a photographic image publicizing service;    second selection step for selecting a print photographic shop;    enabling said reception dealer to transfer the photographic image data to the selected print photographic shop if the photographic printing service is selected in the first selection step, said selected print photographic shop prints an image corresponding to the received photographic image data; and    publicizing the received photographic image data via a network if the photographic image publicizing service is selected in the first selection step.    
     
     
         13 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 12  further comprising the steps of: 
 receiving a sales request for the publicized photographic image data; and    transferring the publicized photographic image data to said selected print photographic shop upon receiving the sales request.    
     
     
         14 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 13  further comprising the step of displaying the publicized photographic image data such that in the step of receiving the sales request, the reception dealer receives the sales request for a photographic image selected from the displayed photographic image data.  
     
     
         15 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 12 , wherein the received photographic image data is photographed or scanned by a digital still camera, a digital video camera, or scanning device.  
     
     
         16 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 12 , wherein the reception dealer is enabled to publicize the photographic image data to a predetermined member.  
     
     
         17 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 12 , wherein the reception dealer the photographic image data is publicized by displaying thumb-nail images of the photographic image data.  
     
     
         18 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 17 , further comprising the step of selecting and adding a frame decoration and a text to the photographic image data if the photographic printing service is selected.  
     
     
         19 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 18 , wherein the frame decoration is a frame ornamentation.  
     
     
         20 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 15 , wherein said photographic image data is in a joint photographic experts group (JPEG) format, a tagged image file format (TIFF), or graphic interchange format (GIF).  
     
     
         21 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 12 , further comprises the step of enabling the selected print photographic shop to print the received photographic image data as a print.  
     
     
         22 . The photographic image commercial transactions method according to  claim 21  further comprises the step of enabling the selected print photographic shop to notify a user that the print is completed.
