Abstract

A plurality of pressure-sensitive adhesive labels on a single sheet, having a blank surface, a solid colored surface, or an imprinted design adapted to help align a golf club while targeting when one or a plurality of the labels are attached to any variety of golf club head. The labels comprise circular and semi-circular shapes, are between ⅛ inch and 2 inches in diameter, and are removable without damaging the golf club head. The imprinted designs comprise a single line, two parallel, crossed lines, or a plurality of dots, triangles, squares, rectangles, or other geometric shapes, colored to contrast with a background color so that they are clearly visible and facilitate the alignment of the golf club.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A device for improving the alignment of a golf club relative to its target comprising a plurality of pressure-sensitive labels having an adhesive first side, and a second blank, solid color or patterned side adapted to assist in aligning the golf club while targeting, wherein;
 the labels comprise circular or semi-circular shapes of between ⅛ inch and 2 inches, so that at least one or a plurality of the labels are adapted to fit on the top surface of a variety of golf club heads; and, the second side comprises a blank white surface, a solid color surface, a single line contrasting against a solid background, two parallel or crossed lines contrasting against a solid background, or a triangle, squares, rectangles, or other geometric shape contained within the borders of the second side, and contrasting against a solid background so that they are clearly visible and facilitate the alignment of the golf club when at least one of the labels is attached to the golf club head.

       2 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the labels are comprised of circular and semi-circular stickers between ⅛ inch and 2 inch in diameter, and multiple labels are adhered to a single club head.

       3 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the labels are applied to a variety of golf club heads, including putters.

       4 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the labels are made of vinyl, plastic, or other printable and durable materials.

       5 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the geometric shapes applied to the second side of the labels comprise colors contrasting with the background color of the label.

       6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein a white stripe is applied across the diameter of a black label.

       7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein a black stripe is applied across the diameter of a white label.

       8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein a white cross is applied across the diameter of a black label.

       9 . The system of claim 1 , wherein a black cross is applied across the diameter of a white label.

       10 . The system of claim 1 , wherein two parallel white lines are applied across the diameter of a black label.

       11 . The system of claim 1 , wherein two parallel black lines are applied across the diameter of a white label.

       12 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the lines comprise three and four parallel white lines on a black background.

       13 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the lines comprise three and four parallel black lines on a white background.

       14 . The system of claim 1 , wherein multiple geometric shapes are contained in on a single label.

       15 . A method of improving the alignment of a golf club relative to its target, comprising the steps of;
 adhering an adhesive backed marker, or a series of adhesive backed markers to the top surface of any variety of golf club in a manner which enhances the user's visualization of the angle of swing; focusing on the arc of the marker or markers as a swing or a practice swing is made; and adjusting the arc of the swing as necessary to improve the accuracy of the swing.
