Abstract
The invention provides an oxygen activating material, which includes as a major constituent an iron-semiconductor alloy containing iron and semiconductor components. A combustion efficiency improving material, an oxygen activating method and a combustion efficiency improving method are also provided.

9 . An oxygen activating method, comprising irradiating electromagnetic waves to an iron-semiconductor alloy containing iron and semiconductor components to activate oxygen in the vicinity of the alloy.
