Abstract

A connecting system for connecting a first hollow part and a second hollow part of a garment display device being in a shape of at least a portion of a human body, the first part and the second part comprising perimetric rim portions facing each other when the display device is in an assembled state, with fastening means comprising a projection protruding from each of the rim portion which comprises an opening extending into an internal hollow section, the projections being positioned such that said openings in each of the projections face each other when the display device is in said assembled state; a pin element fitting within the hollow sections for connecting the projections to each other.

A connecting system for connecting at least a first hollow part and a second hollow part of a garment display device being in a shape of at least a portion of a human body, said first part comprising a first perimetric rim portion and said second part comprising a second perimetric rim portion, said rim portions facing each other when the display device is in an assembled state, the system comprising fastening means for fastening said first hollow part to said second hollow part; 
 wherein said fastening means comprises    at least one first projection protruding from said first rim and comprising a first opening extending into a first internal hollow section within said first projection;    at least one second opening extending into a second internal hollow section within a part of said second rim portion of said second hollow part;    said first and second internal hollow sections having an overall length;    said first projection and said second opening being positioned such that said first opening and said second opening face each other when the display device is in said assembled state;    a pin element for fitting within said first hollow section and within said second hollow section so as to connect said first hollow part to said second hollow part, the pin element having a length not being larger than the said overall length of said first and said second internal hollow sections.    
   
   
       2 . A connecting system according to  claim 1 , comprising 
 a plurality of fastening groups, each group comprised of a first projection comprising said first hollow section and of a second internal hollow section, said hollow sections facing each other by said first opening and said second opening, the fastening groups arranged such that, when the garment display device is in said assembled state, each group is located at a distance from another group; and    a plurality of pin elements, each pin element for insertion into said hollow sections facing each other.    
   
   
       3 . A connecting system according to  claim 1 , wherein said second opening and said second internal hollow section are at least partially comprised in a second projection protruding from said second rim portion of said second hollow part.  
   
   
       4 . A connecting system according to  claim 1 , wherein said first projection is located at a first reinforced area of said first rim portion.  
   
   
       5 . A connecting system according to  claim 1 , wherein said part of said second rim portion comprising the second opening and the second internal hollow section, is a second reinforced area of said second rim portion.  
   
   
       6 . A connecting system according to  claim 3 , wherein said second projection is located at a second reinforced area of said second rim portion.  
   
   
       7 . A connecting system according to  claim 1 , wherein said first internal hollow section extends through at least the entire first projection.  
   
   
       8 . A connecting system according to  claim 3 , wherein said second internal hollow section extends through at least the entire second projection.  
   
   
       9 . A connecting system according to  claim 1 , wherein said pin element is press-fitted into said first hollow section and said second hollow section.  
   
   
       10 . A garment display device being in a shape of at least a portion of a human body comprising 
 at least a first hollow part and at least a second hollow part of, said first part comprising a first perimetric rim portion and said second part comprising a second perimetric rim portion, said rim portions facing each other when the display device is in an assembled state;    fastening means for fastening said first part to said second part;    wherein said fastening means comprises    at least one first projection protruding from said first rim and comprising a first opening extending into a first internal hollow section within said first projection;    at least one second opening extending into a second internal hollow section within a part of said rim portion of said second hollow part;    said first and second internal hollow sections having an overall length;    said first projection and said second opening being positioned such that said first opening and said second opening face each other when the display device is in said assembled state;    a pin element for fitting within said first hollow section and within said second hollow section so as to connect said first hollow part to said second hollow part, the pin element having a length not being larger than the said overall length of said first and said second internal hollow sections.    
   
   
       11 . A garment display device according to  claim 10 , comprising 
 a plurality of fastening groups, each group comprised of a first projection comprising said first hollow section and of a second internal hollow section, said hollow sections facing each other by said first opening and said second opening, the fastening groups arranged such that, when the garment display device is in said assembled state, each group is located at a distance from another group; and    a plurality of pin elements, each pin element for insertion into said hollow sections facing each other.    
   
   
       12 . A garment display device according to  claim 10 , wherein said second opening and said second internal hollow section are comprised in a second projection protruding from said second rim portion of said second hollow part.  
   
   
       13 . A garment display device according to  claim 10 , wherein said first projection is located at a first reinforced area of said first rim portion.  
   
   
       14 . A garment display device according to  claim 10 , wherein said part of said second rim portion comprising the second opening and the second internal hollow section, is a second reinforced area of said second rim portion.  
   
   
       15 . A garment display device according to  claim 12 , wherein said second projection is located at a second reinforced area of said second rim portion.  
   
   
       16 . A garment display device according to  claim 10 , wherein said first internal hollow section extends through at least the entire first projection.  
   
   
       17 . A garment display device according to  claim 12 , wherein said second internal hollow section extends through at least the entire second projection.  
   
   
       18 . A garment display device according to  claim 10 , wherein said pin element is press-fitted into said first hollow section and said second hollow section.
