Plant bowl
Abstract
The invention relates to a plant bowl for accommodating more than one plant. It has a side wall ( 2 ) which extends rectilinearly from the base ( 1 ) of the plant bowl to the open border ( 3 ) of the latter, and also has a lid-like insert or attachment ( 7 ) which is retained in the vicinity of the border ( 3 ) and in which are provided a plurality of (more than one) openings ( 8 ), of which the diameter is dimensioned for accommodating in each case one plant pot ( 10 ). This plant pot is particularly suitable for the simple and quick arrangement of a number of plants preferably by theme, e.g. of herbs according to recipes, but also, just as well, for the arrangement of decorative plants. It is no longer necessary, when filling the bowl, to waste time working with soil. The plant bowl can expediently be supplemented by a clamping-action stand ( 25 ) and a cover ( 20 ).
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . Plant bowl for accommodating more than one plant, characterized by a side wall ( 2 ) which extends rectilinearly from the base ( 1 ) of the plant bowl to the open border ( 3 ) of the latter, and by a lid-like insert or attachment ( 7 ) which is retained in the vicinity of the border ( 3 ) and in which are provided a plurality of (more than one) openings ( 8 ), of which the diameter is dimensioned for accommodating in each case one plant pot ( 10 ).
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized in that the side wall ( 2 ) extends at ninety degrees, or at an angle which is directed only slightly outwards from ninety degrees, in relation to the open border ( 3 ).
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized in that provided beneath the border ( 3 ) is an inwardly oriented protrusion ( 6 ) which serves as a rest ( 6 ) for the lid-like insert ( 7 ).
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized in that the lid-like attachment ( 7 ) rests on the border ( 3 ) and can be fixed on the border ( 3 ) by a snap-in connection.
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized in that the diameters of the openings ( 8 ) are dimensioned such that plant pots ( 10 ) inserted therein end up resting, by way of their collar ( 9 ), on the border of the openings ( 8 ).
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized in that the height of the bowl is dimensioned such that plant pots ( 10 ) inserted into the openings ( 8 ) end up resting or butting against the border of the openings ( 8 ) in a state in which they are suspended at a distance above the base ( 1 ).
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized in that a so-called dome ( 14 ) in the form of a hollow-cylindrical, inwardly oriented extension is provided on the base ( 1 ), and its cavity passes through the base ( 1 ).
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized in that the openings ( 8 ) have convexities ( 11 ) as an engagement means.
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized in that the border ( 3 ) has a flange formation ( 4 ), and insertion slots ( 16 ) for labels and/or openings for a carrying handle are arranged in the border.
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized in that feet ( 13 ) are provided on the base ( 1 ).
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized in that a standing ring is provided on the base ( 1 ).
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized in that drainage holes are provided in the base ( 1 ).
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized in that a stand ( 25 ) can be fixed on the base ( 1 ) by a snap-in or clamping-action connection.
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized in that one or more inwardly oriented indents ( 18 ) are provided in the base ( 1 ), and a stand ( 25 ) has stubs ( 26 ) which correspond to the indent(s) ( 18 ) and fit with clamping action into the indent(s) ( 18 ) on the base ( 1 ).
. Plant bowl according to claim 14 , characterized in that annular grooves ( 19 ) are provided in the indent or indents ( 18 ) of the bowl base ( 1 ) and on the stub or stubs ( 26 ) of the stand.
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized in that the base ( 1 ) contains a groove ( 22 ) into which a stand ( 25 ) fits with clamping action by way of its border.
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized in that the side wall ( 2 ) has ribs ( 5 ) or grooves or curved lines formed in it for reinforcing purposes.
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized in that the underside of the lid-like insert ( 7 ) has reinforcing ribs ( 12 ) which run between the openings ( 8 ).
. Plant bowl according to claim 1 , characterized by a removable cover ( 20 ).
. Plant bowl according to claim 19 , characterized in that the cover ( 20 ) can be fixed on the top border of the plant bowl with the aid of a snap-in device ( 23 ).
. Plant bowl according to claim 19 , characterized in that the cover ( 20 ) has a gripping means ( 21 ) or engagement holes ( 24 ).
