Grill Liner

Abstract

The Grill Liner consists of a thin metal sheet bent to the radius of public grill's individual surface bars (usually the vertical bar), likely covering enough of the circumference of the bar's surface to stay in place. By covering as many individual vertical grill bars as needed the Grill Liner eliminates any direct contact between the public grill and the food being cooked promoting a more sanitary cooking condition.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A metallic strip bent to the curvature of an individual vertical or horizontal bar on the surface of any cooking grill. Additional cutouts or features may be added to ensure a snug fit of the said curved metal sheet over the grill's individual surface bars. The metal sheet can be of very thin construction to withstand single use at typical cooking temperatures (disposable model typical for use with public grills), or designed for more permanent applications such as repairing an old or damaged home grill's surface.
