Abstract
A stand assembly for a barbecue device has an extension rod ( 10 ) with a distal end, an abutting head ( 20 ) mounted on the distal end of the extension rod ( 10 ) and an adjustable joint secured between the extension rod ( 10 ) and the abutting head ( 20 ). Particularly, the abutting head ( 20 ) has multiple teeth ( 22 ) to adapt to uneven ground and the adjustable joint keeps the barbecue device always balanced on the uneven ground, especially some uneven ground with gravelstones or pebbles. Thereby, the barbecue device can stand stably on any uneven ground.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A stand assembly for a barbecue device comprising:
an extension rod ( 10 ) with a top end ( 12 ) and a distal end ( 14 ); an abutting head ( 20 ) adjustably attached to the distal end ( 14 ) of the extension rod ( 20 ), being a shallow dish, and having
an edge periphery;
a through hole ( 22 ) defined in the abutting head ( 20 ); and
multiple teeth ( 24 ) formed on the edge periphery to adapt to an uneven ground; and
an adjustable joint ( 30 ) mounted between the extension rod ( 10 ) and the abutting head ( 20 ) to make the abutting head ( 20 ) adjustable relative to the extension rod ( 10 ).
2 . The stand assembly as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the extension rod ( 10 ) is a cylindrical tube ( 12 ) and has
a top flat face ( 122 ) formed at the top end ( 12 ); and a dome-shaped head ( 142 ) formed at the distal end ( 14 ) and having a central hole ( 144 ) defined in the dome-shaped head ( 142 ) to correspondingly align with the through hole ( 22 ) on the abutting head ( 20 ).
3 . The stand assembly as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the adjustable joint ( 30 ) comprises:
an adjusting bolt ( 34 ) having a threaded distal end and a head and penetrating the through hole ( 20 ) to engage the distal end ( 14 ) of the extension rod ( 10 ); and a conical spring ( 32 ) having
an enlarged end abutting the abutting head ( 20 ); and
a tapered end resting on the head of the adjusting bolt ( 34 );
wherein, the distal end ( 14 ) has a central hole ( 144 ) that is threaded to engage the threaded distal end on the adjusting bolt ( 34 ).
4 . The stand assembly as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the adjustable joint ( 30 ) comprises:
an adjusting bolt ( 34 ) having a threaded distal end and a head and penetrating the through hole ( 20 ) to engage the distal end ( 14 ) of the extension rod ( 10 ); and a conical spring ( 32 ) having
an enlarged end abutting the abutting head ( 20 ); and
a tapered end resting on the head of the adjusting bolt ( 34 ); wherein, the central hole ( 144 ) is threaded to engage the threaded distal end on the adjusting bolt ( 34 ).
5 . The stand assembly as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the through hole ( 22 ) has an inward curved edge to allow the dome-shaped head ( 142 ) to smoothly slide on the abutting head ( 20 ).Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
