Claims

Abstract

A display input device comprises a display unit having a flexibility; and a first form change detection unit having a flexibility. The first form change detection unit is able to detect a deformation ascribed to the flexibility as a change in a electrical property. A display input system further comprises a display driving unit that supplies a display signal to the display unit and signal judging unit that judges a input data based on the change in a electrical property in the first form change detection unit. The input of a first data can be performed by adding the deformation to the display input device.

1 . A display input system comprising: 
 a flexible sheet-type display input part, the display input part including: 
 a display unit having a thin shape and displaying information electronically; and  
 a geometric change detection unit laminated with the display unit,  
   having a flexibility, and being able to detect a geometric change of form of the display unit as a change in an electrical property;    wherein an input of a first data is performed by adding at least one of bending, rounding, turning over or torsion to the display input part.    
   
   
       2 . A display input system according to  claim 1 , further comprising: 
 a control unit that controls contents to be displayed on the display unit based on the first data.    
   
   
       3 . A display input system according to  claim 1 , further comprising: 
 a data input unit that receives a second data inputted by a user.    
   
   
       4 . A display input system according to  claim 1 , wherein the geometric change detection unit extends around a screen of the display unit.  
   
   
       5 . A display input system according to  claim 1 , wherein the change in the electrical property depends on an amount of the geometric change of form.  
   
   
       6 . A display input system according to  claim 1 , wherein 
 the geometric change detection unit has a pair of conductive layers and a perception layer interposed between the conductive layers,    the perception layer being constituted by a layer having an electric property that changes by at least one of stress and displacement, and    a resistance between the pair of conductive layers changes when the geometric change of form is added.    
   
   
       7 . A display input system according to  claim 1 , wherein 
 the geometric change detection unit has a plurality of divided parts, and each of the divided parts is able to detect the geometric change of form independently.
