Abstract

An oil-based pigmented ink composition containing a pigment, a polymer and an organic solvent, wherein the organic solvent contains a (poly)alkylene glycol derivative in an amount of 30 to 90% by weight and a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound in an amount of 1 to 30% by weight, each based on the whole weight of the ink composition, and the ink composition has a flash point of at least 63° C.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An oil-based pigment ink composition comprising a pigment, a polymer and an organic solvent, wherein said organic solvent contains a (poly)alkylene glycol derivative in an amount of 30 to 90% by weight and a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound in an amount of 1 to 30% by weight, each based on the whole weight of the ink composition, and wherein said ink composition has a viscosity of 2 to 15 cp at 25° C., a surface tension of 20 to 40 mN/m at 25° C., and a dispersion average particle size of 20 to 200 nm.
