Abstract

A product comprising a transformable toy configured to transform between at least a first configuration and a second configuration, the toy comprising a first portion; a second portion releasably coupled to the first portion; and an actuator, wherein an activation of the actuator causes the first portion and the second portion to uncouple.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A product comprising:
a transformable toy configured to transform between at least a first configuration and a second configuration, the toy comprising:
 a first portion;
a second portion releasably coupled to the first portion; and
an actuator, wherein an activation of the actuator causes the first portion and the second portion to uncouple.

2 . The product of claim 1 , wherein the actuator includes a trigger.

3 . The product of claim 1 , wherein transformation transforms the toy between simulating a first toy and simulating a second toy, said second toy different from said first toy, where said toys each have an overall different outward appearance.

4 . The product of claim 3 , where the actuator is shaped to receive a projectile that causes the activation of the actuator.

5 . The product of claim 3 , wherein the second portion is moveably coupled to the first portion enabling the second portion to rotate relative to the first portion while being coupled.

6 . The product of claim 3 , wherein the second portion is moveably coupled to the first portion enabling the second portion to translate relative to the first portion while being coupled.

7 . The product of claim 3 , wherein the first portion and the second portion are configured to remain coupled as the toy transforms between the first configuration and the second configuration.

8 . The product of claim 7 , further including at least a third portion releasably coupled to the first portion, and a second actuator, wherein the third portion is uncoupled from the first portion upon activation of the second actuator.

9 . The product of claim 7 , further including at least a third portion releasably coupled to the first portion, and wherein the third portion is uncoupled from the first portion upon activation of the actuator.

10 . The product of claim 9 , wherein the actuator has at least two activation levels, wherein a first activation of the actuator causes the first portion and the second portion to uncouple and a second activation of the actuator causes the third portion and the first portion to uncouple.

11 . The product of claim 3 , wherein the first configuration represents a vehicle and the second configuration represents a humanoid-shaped toy, the humanoid-shaped toy configured to perform a sports activity.

12 . The product of claim 3 , wherein one of the first portion and the second portion is configured to receive an action figure.

13 . The product of claim 3 , wherein activation of the actuator causes uncoupling of the first portion and the second portion in the first configuration and in the second configuration.

14 . The product of claim 3 , wherein the first portion and the second portion are configured to be recoupled if uncoupled.

15 . A transformable toy configured to transform between a first configuration and a second configuration, comprising
a first portion; a second portion; a movable joint releasably coupling the first and the second portions, wherein the movable joint enables transformation of the toy without uncoupling the first and the second portions, wherein the transformation transforms the toy between simulating a first toy and simulating a second toy, said second toy different from said first toy, where said toys each have an overall different outward appearance; and an actuator configured to uncouple at least the first portion and the second portion upon activation of the actuator.

16 . The transformable toy of claim 15 , wherein the actuator is configured to be actuated by a force applied to the actuator.

17 . The transformable toy of claim 15 , wherein the first portion and the second portion are uncoupled and moved apart by a spring loaded mechanism when the actuator is actuated.

       18 . A transformable toy, comprising:
a first portion configured to receive a figure; a second portion releasably coupled to the first portion; and a first actuator configured to uncouple at least the first portion and the second portion when the actuator is activated; wherein the second portion is configured to move relative to the first portion to enable transformation from a first play mode representing a first item to a second play mode representing a second item different from the first item.

19 . The transformable toy of claim 18 , further comprising a projectile and a second actuator, wherein the projectile is configured to be ejected upon activation of the second actuator.

20 . The product of claim 19 , wherein said transformation is effected without requiring disassembly.
