Transformation toy interchangeability

Abstract

A toy kit, comprising of a plurality of interchangeable figures; a transformable toy configured to transform between a vehicle configuration and a powersuit configuration, the transformable toy including a first figure receiver accessible in the vehicle configuration and a second figure receiver accessible in the powersuit configuration, the first and second figure receivers adapted to receive any one of the plurality of interchangeable figures.

1 . A toy kit, comprising: 
 a plurality of interchangeable figures;    a transformable toy configured to transform between a vehicle configuration and a powersuit configuration, the transformable toy including a first figure receiver accessible in the vehicle configuration and a second figure receiver accessible in the powersuit configuration, the first and second figure receivers adapted to receive any one of the plurality of interchangeable figures.    
   
   
       2 . The toy kit of  claim 1 , wherein one of the first and second figure receivers is configured to removably lock the figure to the transformable toy.  
   
   
       3 . The toy kit of  claim 2  wherein one of the first and second figure receivers includes clips to detachably retain the figure.  
   
   
       4 . The toy kit of  claim 1 , wherein the first figure receiver is a cockpit.  
   
   
       5 . The toy kit of  claim 1 , wherein the first figure receiver is different then the second figure receiver.  
   
   
       6 . The toy kit of  claim 1 , wherein the transformable toy includes releasable portions releasable by actuation of an engagement device.  
   
   
       7 . The toy kit of  claim 6 , wherein the figure is retained within at least one of the first figure receiver and the second figure receiver upon actuation of the engagement device.  
   
   
       8 . The toy kit of  claim 1 , wherein the power suit configuration simulates an extreme racing sport.  
   
   
       9 . The toy kit of  claim 1 , wherein the figure further includes at least a moveable member simulating an appendage.  
   
   
       10 . The toy kit of  claim 1 , wherein the figure includes a mounting structure corresponding to a mating mounting structure in one of the first and second figure receiver.  
   
   
       11 . The toy kit of  claim 10  wherein the mounting structure on the figure is an opening corresponding to a shaft disposed in one of the first and second figure receiver.  
   
   
       12 . The toy kit of  claim 1 , wherein transformation is effected without disassembly.  
   
   
       13 . An interchangeable action figure for a reconfigurable toy having a vehicle configuration and a second configuration, the figure comprising: 
 a head; and    a torso configured to be received by a receiver disposed on the reconfigurable toy, wherein the receiver couples the figure to the reconfigurable toy in both the vehicle configuration and the second configuration.    
   
   
       14 . The action figure of  claim 13 , wherein the receiver is a clip configured to receive the torso.  
   
   
       15 . The action figure of  claim 13 , including a mating structure lockable in the receiver.  
   
   
       16 . The action figure of  claim 13 , wherein the torso further includes an accessory receiver to removably receive an accessory.  
   
   
       17 . A product, comprising: 
 a toy configured to transform between a power-suit configuration and a vehicle configuration, wherein the transformation of the toy between the power-suit configuration and the vehicle configuration; and    an action figure representing a humanoid configured to be coupled to the toy; and    an actuator, wherein actuation of the actuator causes the toy to disassemble into at least two portions.    
   
   
       18 . The product of  claim 17 , wherein the action figure is retained with one of the at least two portions upon actuation of the actuator.  
   
   
       19 . The product of  claim 17 , wherein the figure is coupled to the toy in the power suit configuration such that the figure wears the toy.  
   
   
       20 . The product of  claim 17 , wherein the figure includes an accessory receiver to removably receive an accessory.
