Abstract

A reconfigurable toy comprising of a body, a plurality of wheels operatively coupled with the body, and at least one leg assembly operatively coupled with the body, wherein the toy is reconfigurable between a vehicle configuration where at least one of the wheels is in contact with a ground surface and a power suit configuration where the at least one leg assembly is in contact with the ground surface and at least one of the wheels is spaced from the ground surface.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A reconfigurable toy comprising:
a body, a plurality of wheels operatively coupled with the body, and at least one leg assembly operatively coupled with the body, wherein the toy is reconfigurable between a vehicle configuration where at least one of the wheels is in contact with a ground surface and a power suit configuration where the at least one leg assembly is in contact with the ground surface and at least one of the wheels is spaced from the ground surface.

2 . The toy of claim 1 , wherein the body, the plurality of wheels and the leg assembly remain operatively coupled throughout the reconfiguration between the vehicle configuration and the power suit configuration.

3 . The toy of claim 1 , wherein the toy comprises three wheels.

4 . The toy of claim 3 , wherein the toy includes a rear wheel and two front wheels in the vehicle configuration.

5 . The toy of claim 4 , wherein the front wheels each form a portion of a knee joint in the power suit configuration.

6 . The toy of claim 4 , wherein the front wheels are substantially disposed within a space defined by a front portion, a knee joint and a lower leg.

7 . The toy of claim 6 , wherein the front portion is configured to receive the lower leg during reconfiguration of the toy from the power suit configuration to the vehicle configuration.

8 . The toy of claim 4 , wherein at least one wheel forms a portion of a knee joint in the power suit configuration.

9 . The toy of claim 1 , wherein the leg assembly includes a lower leg and a foot section.

10 . The toy of claim 9 , wherein the lower leg is moveable relative the foot section.

11 . The toy of claim 1 , wherein the leg assembly includes a knee joint configured to enable rotation of a lower leg relative to a front section.

12 . The toy of claim 1 , comprising a cockpit for receiving an action figure.

13 . The toy of claim 1 , further comprising a trigger configured upon activation to effect at least partial disassembly of the toy.

       14 . A toy comprising:
a frame reconfigurable between a vehicle configuration and a power suit configuration, wherein the power suit configuration simulates a jumping activity; a cockpit for receiving an action figure in both the vehicle configuration and the power suit configuration; at least one releasable member accessible in both the vehicle configuration and the power suit configuration; and a trigger configured to be actuated to effect release of the member.

15 . The toy of claim 14 , wherein the frame comprises a plurality of wheels.

16 . The toy of claim 15 , where two front wheels and a back wheel engage a ground surface in the vehicle configuration.

17 . The toy of claim 15 , where in the power suit configuration the plurality of wheels are spaced from a ground surface.

18 . The toy of claim 14 , where the frame comprises a leg assembly configured to extend to a ground surface in the power suit configuration.

       19 . A toy power suit comprising:
a frame corresponding to the shape of a humanoid figure jumping, including a first member simulating a first leg, a second member simulating a first arm, a third member simulating a second leg; and a fourth member simulating a second arm; and a cockpit on the frame configured to receive a humanoid-shaped pilot.

20 . The toy of claim 19 , wherein the first member and third member each comprise a moveable lower leg coupled to an upper leg through a knee joint.

21 . The toy of claim 20 , wherein the first member and third member include a wheel disposed in the knee joint.

22 . The toy of claim 19 , wherein the frame is transformable to a vehicle.
