Abstract

A tool platform includes a main board mounted on a top of a toolbox, a first side board and a second side board respectively connected to two opposite sides of the main board. The first side board and the second side board are respectively secured on two opposite walls of the toolbox to hold the main board in place. The main board has an area greater than that of the top of the toolbox and equally extends out of the top of the toolbox for preventing the toolbox from a crash. The main board has multiple recesses defined therein for receiving tools and small elements.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A tool platform comprising a main board adapted to be mounted on a top of a toolbox, a first side board and a second side board respectively connected to two opposite sides of the main board, the first side board and the second side board adapted to be respectively secured on two opposite walls of the toolbox to hold the main board in place, the main board having an area greater than that of the top of the toolbox and equally extending out of the top of the toolbox for preventing the toolbox from a crash, the main board having multiple recesses defined therein for receiving tools and small elements.

2 . The tool platform as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of the first side board and the second side board has at least one penetrating portion defined therein for user to hold the first side board/the second side board and easily move the toolbox.

3 . The tool platform as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the second side board has two penetrating portions defined therein for user to hold the second side board and easily move the toolbox, and the first side board has multiple through holes defined therein and multiple Ω-shaped clamping structures formed on one side of the first side board opposite to the main board, the clamping structures provided to clamp sockets and the through holes provides to position a wrench that drives the sockets.

4 . The tool platform as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the second side board has two penetrating portions defined therein for user to hold the second side board and easily move the toolbox, and the first side board has multiple sunken holes defined therein and extending therethrough, the sunken holes provided to hold screwdrivers and the tools that have a shaft structure.

5 . The tool platform as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the two opposite sides of the main board, which are connected to the first side board and the second side board, respectively has at least one dove-tail groove laterally defined therein, the first side board and the second side board respectively having at least one dove-tail tenon laterally extending therefrom, each dove-tail tenon slidably received in a corresponding one of the dove-tail grooves in the main board for serially connecting the first side board, the main board and the second side board, each of the first side board and the second side board having at least one fixing plate that has two opposite ends respectively secured on the wall of the toolbox and the first side board/the second side board to hold the first side board and the second side board in place.

6 . The tool platform as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the two opposite sides of the main board, which are connected to the first side board and the second side board, respectively has at least one dove-tail groove laterally defined therein, the first side board and the second side board respectively having at least one dove-tail tenon laterally extending therefrom, each dove-tail tenon slidably received in a corresponding one of the dove-tail grooves in the main board for serially connecting the first side board, the main board and the second side board, each of the first side board and the second side board having at least one fixing plate that has two opposite ends respectively secured on the wall of the toolbox and the first side board/the second side board to hold the first side board and the second side board in place.

7 . The tool platform as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the two opposite sides of the main board, which are connected to the first side board and the second side board, respectively has at least one dove-tail groove laterally defined therein, the first side board and the second side board respectively having at least one dove-tail tenon laterally extending therefrom, each dove-tail tenon slidably received in a corresponding one of the dove-tail grooves in the main board for serially connecting the first side board, the main board and the second side board, each of the first side board and the second side board having at least one fixing plate that has two opposite ends respectively secured on the wall of the toolbox and the first side board/the second side board to hold the first side board and the second side board in place.

8 . The tool platform as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the two opposite sides of the main board, which are connected to the first side board and the second side board, respectively has at least one dove-tail groove laterally defined therein, the first side board and the second side board respectively having at least one dove-tail tenon laterally extending therefrom, each dove-tail tenon slidably received in a corresponding one of the dove-tail grooves in the main board for serially connecting the first side board, the main board and the second side board, each of the first side board and the second side board having at least one fixing plate that has two opposite ends respectively secured on the wall of the toolbox and the first side board/the second side board to hold the first side board and the second side board in place.
