Abstract

A shower caddy is disclosed that includes an attachment mechanism and shelves that are rotatably positionable along a threaded column. The attachment mechanism includes a hook and an adjustable screw that can be attached to a shower pipe or a shower fixture. The shelves can have a cup type shape for ease of positioning, retaining and accessing items such as razors, soap and other shower related articles. The shelves also include an aperture in the shelf wall or bottom that can receive the top of an inverted container. The contents of the container can be dispensed through the aperture. The shower caddy can also include a base shelf that provides a freestanding shower caddy.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A shower caddy comprising:
a threaded column having a first end portion and a second end portion; at least one shelf that has threads that connect to the threaded column, the at least one shelf rotatingly connected to the column and adjustably positionable along the column; and an attachment mechanism connected to the first portion that is adapted to connect to a shower fixture.

2 . The shower caddy of claim 1 further including a base shelf.

3 . The shower caddy of claim 1 , wherein the at least one shelf defines a first aperture that provides an accessible upper opening and at least one second aperture.

4 . The shower caddy of claim 1 , wherein the at least one shelf is adapted to receive a container having contents that dispense through the second aperture.

5 . The shower caddy of claim 1 , wherein the shelf is a container that dispenses the container's contents through one of the apertures.

6 . The shower caddy of claim 1 , wherein the attachment mechanism comprises a hook and an adjustable screw is connected to the hook.

7 . The shower caddy of claim 6 , wherein the hook is adapted to receive a shower pipe and the adjustable screw is connected to the shower pipe.

8 . The shower caddy of claim 6 , wherein the adjustable screw includes a second hook.

9 . A shower caddy having adjustably positionable shelves comprising:
a column; at least one shelf adjustably positionable along the column; and an attachment mechanism connected to the column that includes a first hook adapted to connect to a shower pipe and a second adjustably positionable hook adapted to connect to a portion of a shower enclosure.

10 . The shower caddy of claim 9 , wherein the first hook has a resilient inner surface that is adapted to interface with the shower pipe.

11 . The shower caddy of claim 9 further comprising an adjustable screw connected to the first hook that includes the second hook, the adjustable screw adjustably positionable relative to the first hook.

12 . The shower caddy of claim 9 , wherein the at least one shelf defines a first aperture that provides an accessible upper opening and at least one second aperture.

13 . The shower caddy of claim 9 , wherein the at least one shelf receives a container having contents dispensed through one of the shelf apertures.

14 . The shower caddy of claim 12 , wherein the shelf is a container that dispenses the container's contents through one of the apertures.

       15 . A shower caddy comprising:
a threaded column having a first end portion and a second end portion; a plurality of shelves that have threads that interfaces with and are rotatingly connected to the threaded column, each shelf rotatingly adjustable along the threaded column; and an attachment mechanism connected to the first end portion of the column that includes a first hook adapted to connect to a shower pipe and an adjustable screw having a second hook adapted to connect to a portion of a shower enclosure.

16 . The shower caddy of claim 15 , wherein the adjustable screw is adjustably positionable relative to the first hook.

17 . The shower caddy of claim 15 , wherein the adjustable screw is adapted to connect to at least one of the shower pipe or a terminal end of the first hook.

18 . The shower caddy of claim 15 , wherein the first hook includes a resilient portion positioned on an inner surface of the hook that interfaces with the shower pipe.

19 . The shower caddy of claim 15 , wherein each shelf has a wall and a bottom, the upper edge of the wall defining a first aperture and at least one of the wall or the bottom defines at least one second aperture.

20 . The shower caddy of claim 19 , wherein the shelves receive a container that is dispensed through the second aperture.
