Ball cleaning device
Abstract
A ball cleaning device includes a base with a recess defined in a top thereof so as to receive balls to be cleaned therein. A rotatable member is located in the recess to support the balls and a friction piece is connected on a top surface of the rotatable member. A collar-shaped peripheral cleaning member is connected to an inner periphery of the recess and a plurality of blocks extend radially inward from an inner periphery of the peripheral cleaning member so as to roll the balls in the recess. A cover is pivotably connected to the base and a pressing plate is connected to a bottom of the cover. A plurality of pressing assemblies are connected between the cover and the pressing plate so as to press the pressing plate toward the recess.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A ball cleaning device comprising:
a base and a recess defined in a top of the base, a rotatable member located in the recess and a first friction piece connected on a top surface of the rotatable member, a collar-shaped peripheral cleaning member connected to an inner periphery of the recess, a plurality of blocks extending radially inward from an inner periphery of the peripheral cleaning member; a cover pivotably connected to the base and a pressing plate connected to a bottom of the cover, and a plurality of pressing assemblies connected between the cover and the pressing plate so as to press the pressing plate toward the recess.
2 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a plurality of locking members are pivotably connected to a periphery of the base so as to be locked on ridges extending from a top of the cover.
3 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the rotatable member is driven by a motor via a gear reduction device.
4 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein two lugs extend from a periphery of the base and the cover has an extension which is pivotably connected between the two lugs.
5 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a limit switch is connected between the base and cover.
6 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the cover includes a plurality of through holes and a plurality of skirt portions extend from an underside of the cover, the pressing assemblies are engaged with the through holes and the skirt portions.
7 . The device as claimed in claim 6 , wherein the pressing plate has a plurality of threaded recesses are defined in a top of the pressing plate and each pressing assembly includes a central bar which extends through a first washer, the through hole in the cover, a second washer, a spring and is threadedly engaged with the threaded recess corresponding thereto.
8 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the peripheral cleaning member includes a connection layer on an outer periphery thereof and the connection layer is connected to the inner periphery of the recess, a fabric layer is connected to the inner periphery of the connection layer, a support material is sandwiched between the connection layer and the fabric layer, the blocks extend from the inner periphery of the connection layer.
9 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the peripheral cleaning member includes a connection layer on an outer periphery thereof and the connection layer is connected to the inner periphery of the recess, a fabric layer is connected to the inner periphery of the connection layer, a support material is sandwiched between the connection layer and the fabric layer, the blocks extend from the inner periphery of the connection layer and each block includes inclined surfaces.
10 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the pressing plate has a central hole and a shaft extends through a flexible separation member and the central hole, the shaft is fastened with a nut.
11 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the pressing plate has a second friction piece connected to an underside thereof.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
