Abstract
A multi-positional swing training device having adjustable configurations suitable for addressing a plurality of swing flaws, such as with a golf swing, is provided. The training device includes a base, and an upright member extending vertically from the base. An elongate arm extends from the upright member and a guide member extends from the distal end of the arm. The position of the arm and guide member relative to the base is adjustable into any variety of positions to address different swing flaws.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A golf teaching and training device comprising:
a base; an upright member extending vertically from the base; a joint member extending horizontally from an upper end of the upright member and being pivotally adjustable; an elongate arm attached to the joint member; and a guide member detachably secured with a distal end of the elongate arm and extending substantially perpendicular to the elongate arm.
2 . The training device of claim 1 , wherein the elongate arm is slidably adjustable relative to the joint member
3 . The training device of claim 1 , wherein the elongate arm is detachably secured to the joint member.
4 . The training device of claim 1 , wherein the elongate arm is rotatable in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction relative to the joint member.
5 . The training device of claim 1 , wherein the guide member comprises a padded material.
6 . The training device of claim 1 , wherein the orientation of the guide member relative to the base is adjustable by rotating the elongated arm.
7 . The training device of claim 1 , wherein the orientation of the guide member relative to the base is adjustable by pivoting the joint member.
8 . The training device of claim 1 , wherein the orientation of the guide member relative to the base is adjustable by sliding the elongate arm relative to the joint member.
9 . A golf teaching and training device comprising:
a base having an upright member extending vertically therefrom; a joint member comprising an upper end of the upright member; an elongate arm operatively attached to the upright member via the joint member; and a guide member extending substantially perpendicularly from the elongate arm, wherein the elongate arm is rotatably moveable and the joint member is pivotally adjustable.
10 . The training device of claim 9 , wherein the orientation of the guide member relative to the base is adjustable by at least one of rotating the elongated arm, pivoting the joint member, or sliding the elongate arm relative to the joint member.
11 . The training device of claim 9 , wherein the elongate arm is slidably adjustable relative to the joint member.
12 . The training device of claim 9 , wherein the elongate arm is detachably secured to the joint member.
13 . The training device of claim 9 , wherein the guide member comprises a padded material.
14 . The training device of claim 9 , wherein the joint member extends substantially perpendicularly from an upper end of the upright member.
15 . The training device of claim 9 , wherein the joint member comprises a ball joint.
16 . A swing training device comprising a base having an upright member extending vertically therefrom, an elongate arm operatively connected with the upright member by a joint member, and a guide member extending from a distal end of the elongate arm, wherein the orientation of the guide member relative to the base is adjustable by performing at least one of rotating the elongate arm, sliding the elongate arm, or pivoting the joint member.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
