. The composition of claim 3 wherein said green tea extract comprises about 31 to about 1,500 mg of catechin and about 12 to about 600 mg of caffeine.

. The composition of claim 1 further comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

. A method for reducing the weight of a human which comprises administration of an effective dose of a composition comprising capsaicin and/or analogs thereof, L-tyrosine, green tea extract, supplemental caffeine and/or analogs thereof, and calcium.

. The method of claim 6 wherein said green tea extract comprises catechin and caffeine.

. A method of claim 6 wherein the effective dose of capsaicin and/or analogs thereof in an amount of from about 0.1 to about 4.8 mg (10,000 to about 480,000 Scoville heat units); about 101 to about 4,800 mg of L-tyrosine; about 125 to about 6,000 mg of green tea extract; about 12 to about 600 mg supplemental caffeine and/or analogs thereof; and about 50 to about 8,000 mg of calcium.

. The method of claim 8 wherein said green tea extract comprises about 31 to about 1,500 mg of catechin and about 12 to about 600 mg of caffeine.

. A method for inhibiting weight re-gain after a desired weight loss comprising the step of administering, after said weight loss, an effective dose of a composition comprising capsaicin and/or analogs thereof, L-tyrosine, green tea extract, supplemental caffeine and/or analogs thereof, and calcium.

. The method of claim 10 wherein said green tea extract comprises catechin and caffeine

. The method of claim 10 wherein the effective dose of capsaicin and/or analogs thereof is in an amount of from about 0.1 to about 4.8 mg (10,000 to about 480,000 Scoville heat units); about 101 to about 4,800 mg of L-tyrosine; about 125 to about 6,000 mg of green tea extract; about 12 to about 600 mg supplemental caffeine and/or analogs thereof; and about 50 to about 8,000 mg of calcium.

. The method of claim 12 wherein said green tea extract comprises about 31 to about 1,500 mg of catechin and about 12 to about 600 mg of caffeine.

. A composition for reducing the weight of an individual, comprising an effective amount of capsaicin and/or analogs thereof, L-tyrosine, green tea extract, supplemental caffeine and/or analogs thereof.

. The composition of claim 14 wherein said green tea extract comprises catechin and caffeine.

. The composition of claim 14 wherein the effective dose comprises of capsaicin and/or analogs thereof in an amount of from about 0.1 to about 4.8 mg (10,000 to about 480,000 Scoville heat units); about 101 to about 4,800 mg of L-tyrosine; about 125 to about 6,000 mg of green tea extract; about 12 to about 600 mg supplemental caffeine and/or analogs thereof.
