Abstract

The present invention relates to compositions and methods of treating and diagnosing disorders characterized the by the presence of antigens associated with inflammatory diseases and/or cancer.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method of treating an inflammatory disorder characterized by elevated expression of the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO: 32 in a mammal, comprising administering to said mammal an effective amount of an immunoadhesin comprising an extracellular domain sequence of the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO: 32, whereby said inflammatory disease is treated.

2 . The method of claim 1 wherein said immunoadhesin comprises said extracellular domain sequence fused to an immunoglobulin constant region sequence.

3 . The method of claim 2 wherein said extracellular domain sequence is essentially free of transmembrane domain sequences.

4 . The method of claim 2 wherein said immunoglobulin is an IgG.

5 . The method of claim 4 wherein said IgG is IgG1 or IgG3.

6 . The method of claim 1 wherein said mammal is human.

7 . The method of claim 6 wherein said inflammatory disorder is selected from the group consisting of rheumatoid arthritis, pneumonia, chronic asthma, chronic hepatitis, and osteoarthritis.
