Abstract
A smoking apparatus includes a main, a lighter unit including a coil attached to the main body to receive electricity to heat the coil, and a control unit to control a supply of the electricity to the lighter unit. Accordingly, the smoking apparatus allows a user to light a smoking implement when the user does not have access to a personal lighting device.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A smoking apparatus, comprising:
a main body; a lighter unit including a coil attached to the main body to receive electricity to heat the coil; and a control unit to control a supply of the electricity to the lighter unit.
2 . The smoking apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the control unit comprises:
a currency accepting unit to accept currency and to supply the electricity to the lighter unit after accepting a predetermined amount of the currency.
3 . The smoking apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the currency accepting unit comprises:
a coin accepting unit to accept coins and to transmit a first credit signal to the lighter unit to activate the lighter unit; and a bill accepting unit to accept bills and to transmit a second credit signal to the lighter unit to activate the lighter unit.
4 . The smoking apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the lighter unit operates for a predetermined amount of time to light the smoking implement when the currency accepting unit supplies the electricity to the lighter unit.
5 . The smoking apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the control unit comprises a switch to supply the electricity to the lighter unit.
6 . The smoking apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the lighter unit comprises:
an automobile type lighter including a plurality of conductive coils; and an automobile type lighter port to receive the electricity and to transfer the received electricity to the conductive coils to heat the conductive coils.
7 . The smoking apparatus of claim 6 , further comprising:
a transformer to convert a voltage received from an external power source into a voltage compatible with the automobile type lighter port.
8 . The smoking apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising:
a smokeless ashtray to reduce smoke emitting from a smoking implement lit by the lighter unit, wherein the control unit controls a supply of the electricity to the smokeless ashtray.
9 . The smoking apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the control unit supplies the electricity to the smokeless ashtray to activate the smokeless ashtray for a predetermined amount of time when the control unit supplies the electricity to the lighter unit.
10 . The smoking apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the control unit continuously supplies the electricity to the lighter unit such that the lighter unit is operable by a force of a user, and the control unit continuously supplies the electricity to the smokeless ashtray to continuously operate the smokeless ashtray.
11 . The smoking apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the control unit continuously supplies the electricity to the lighter unit such that the lighter unit is operable by a force of a user, and the control unit supplies power to the smokeless ashtray to operate the smokeless ashtray for a predetermined amount of time when the lighter unit is operated by the user.
12 . The smoking apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising:
a security chain to attach the lighter unit to the box to prevent the lighter unit from being removed.
13 . A smoking apparatus, comprising:
a lighter unit to light a smoking implement; a smokeless ashtray to reduce smoke emitting from the smoking implement; and a currency acceptor unit to accept currency, and to activate the lighter unit and the smokeless ashtray after accepting a predetermined amount of the currency.
14 . The smoking apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the lighter unit comprises:
a handle; a conductive coil connected to the handle; a power supply port to supply a power to the coil to heat the coil; and a transformer to convert a voltage received from an external power source into a voltage compatible with the power supply port.
15 . The smoking apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the money acceptor unit comprises:
a bill acceptor to accept and count bills and to transmit a first control signal to the lighter unit and the smokeless ashtray; and a coin acceptor to accept and count coins and to transmit a second control signal to the lighter unit and the smokeless ashtray.
16 . The smoking apparatus of claim 15 , wherein when the lighter unit receives one of the first and second control signals, the lighter unit operates for a first predetermined amount of time, and when the smokeless ashtray receives one of the first and second control signals, the smokeless ashtray operates for a second predetermined amount of time.
17 . The smoking apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the smokeless ashtray comprises:
an air filter to filter the smoke emitting from the smoking implement.
18 . A smoking apparatus, comprising:
a main body; an lighter unit provided at an outer surface of the main body; a smokeless ashtray disposed at the outer surface of the main body to draw smoke emitting from a smoking implement into the main body and filter the drawn smoke; a coin accepting unit to accept coins and to provide a current signal to the automobile style lighter unit for a first predetermined amount of time and to the smokeless ashtray for a second predetermined amount of time after calculating a predetermined amount of currency from the accepted coins; and a bill accepting unit to accept bills and to provide a current signal to the automobile style lighter unit for the first predetermined amount of time and to the smokeless ashtray for the second predetermined amount of time after calculating a predetermined amount of currency form the accepted bills.
19 . The smoking apparatus of claim 18 , further comprising:
a transformer to convert an alternating current signal received from an external power source into a direct current signal compatible with the automobile style lighter unit, wherein the coin accepting unit and the bill accepting unit provide the direct current signal to the automobile style lighter unit, and provide the alternating current signal to the smokeless ashtray.
20 . The smoking apparatus of claim 18 , further comprising:
a security chain to attach the automobile style lighter unit to the main body to prevent the automobile style lighter unit from being removed.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
