Abstract
A composition of three compounds each selected from a selective re-uptake inhibitor of serotonin, a monoamine oxidase inhibitor, and a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, such that all three compounds are different and are naturally occurring.

A composition, comprising a first compound, a second compound, and a third compound being a serotonin re-uptake inhibitor, a monoamine oxidase inhibitor, and a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, respectively; wherein the three compounds are different and are naturally occurring.
2 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein each of the three compounds are selected from the group consisting of glabridin, resveratrol, quercetin and isoquercetin.
3 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein the serotonin re-uptake inhibitor is glabridin or isoquercetin.
4 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein the monoamine oxidase inhibitor is glabridin, resveratrol, or quercetin.
5 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein the phosphodiesterase inhibitor is glabridin or quercetin.
6 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein the three compounds are provided as plant extracts.
7 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein the three compounds are provided in pure form.
8 . The composition of claim 1 , further comprising vitamin C or vitamin B3.
9 . The composition of claim 2 , wherein glabridin and isoquercetin are provided as a plant extract.
10 . The composition of claim 2 , wherein resveratrol and quercetin are provided in pure form.
11 . The composition of claim 2 , further comprising vitamin C or vitamin B3.
12 . The composition of claim 2 , wherein the composition is in dry form.
13 . The composition of claim 2 , wherein the composition is tea, juice, soft drink, cookie, cereal, snack bar, chocolate, jelly, ice cream, yogurt, or candy.
14 . The composition of claim 2 , wherein the composition is a tablet, a tonic, a lozenge, or a spray.
15 . A method of treating depression, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a composition of claim 1 .
16 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the depression is a major depressive disorder, an atypical depression, a bipolar disorder, or a dysthymic disorder.
17 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the composition is administered orally.
18 . A method of treating anxiety, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a composition of claim 1 .
19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the anxiety is a panic disorder, a phobia, an obsessive-compulsive disorder, a posttraumatic stress disorder, or a generalized anxiety disorder.
20 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the composition is administered orally.
21 . A method of treating depression, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a daily dosage of glabridin 20-3000 mg, a daily dosage of resveratrol 50- 3000 mg, and a daily dosage of quercetin 50-4000 mg.
22 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the daily dosage of glabridin is 40-2000 mg, the daily dosage of resveratrol is 100-2000 mg, and the daily dosage of quercetin is 100-3000 mg.
23 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising administering to the subject a daily dosage of vitamin C 20-2000 mg or a daily dosage of vitamin B3 1-200 mg.
24 . A method of treating anxiety, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a daily dosage of glabridin 20-3000 mg, a daily dosage of resveratrol 50- 3000 mg, and a daily dosage of quercetin 50-4000 mg.
25 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the daily dosage of glabridin is 20-2000 mg, the daily dosage of resveratrol is 50-2000 mg, and the daily dosage of quercetin is 100-3000 mg.
26 . The method of claim 24 , further comprising administering to the subject a daily dosage of vitamin C 20-2000 mg or a daily dosage of vitamin B3 1-200 mg.
27 . A method of treating depression, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a daily dosage of isoquercetin 20-3000 mg, a daily dosage of resveratrol 50-3000 mg, and a daily dosage of quercetin 50-4000 mg.
28 . The method of claim 27 , wherein the daily dosage of isoquercetin is 40-2000 mg, the daily dosage of resveratrol is 100-2000 mg, and the daily dosage of quercetin is 100-3000 mg.
29 . The method of claim 27 , further comprising administering to the subject a daily dosage of vitamin C 20-2000 mg or a daily dosage of vitamin B3 1-200 mg.
30 . A method of treating anxiety, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a daily dosage of isoquercetin 20-3000 mg, a daily dosage of resveratrol 50-3000 mg, and a daily dosage of quercetin 50-4000 mg.
31 . The method of claim 30 , wherein the daily dosage of isoquercetin is 20-2000 mg, the daily dosage of resveratrol is 50-2000 mg, and the daily dosage of quercetin is 100-3000 mg.
32 . The method of claim 30 , further comprising administering to the subject a daily dosage of vitamin C 20-2000 mg or a daily dosage of vitamin B3 1-200 mg.
33 . A method of treating depression, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a daily dosage of glabridin 20-3000 mg, a daily dosage of resveratrol 50-3000 mg, and a daily dosage of isoquercetin 50-4000 mg.
34 . The method of claim 33 , wherein the daily dosage of glabridin is 20-2000 mg, the daily dosage of resveratrol is 50-2000 mg, and the daily dosage of isoquercetin is 100-3000 mg.
35 . The method of claim 33 , further comprising administering to the subject a daily dosage of vitamin C 20-2000 mg or a daily dosage of vitamin B3 1-200 mg.
36 . A method of treating anxiety, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a daily dosage of glabridin 20-3000 mg, a daily dosage of resveratrol 50-3000 mg, and a daily dosage of isoquercetin 50-4000 mg.
37 . The method of claim 36 , wherein the daily dosage of glabridin is 20-2000 mg, the daily dosage of resveratrol is 50-2000 mg, and the daily dosage of isoquercetin is 100-3000 mg.
