Abstract

The invention relates to an umbrella frame having secure main branch rib, which mainly relates to be applied on the umbrella frame having odd ribs. The frame has a secure main branch rib with upward U-shape opening and a supplementary rib having inner hook to connect with the main branch rib. Hence, when the umbrella is closed, it will be secure and effective for users.

An umbrella frame having secure main branch rib including a first rib, a second rib, and a tail rib, and the improvement is to provide a main branch rib having its U-shape opening upward and having its outer end connect with a middle portion of the first rib, a first supplementary rib being a rod and having its inner end to be a hook to hook the outer portion of the main branch rib.  
   
   
       2 . An umbrella frame having secure main branch rib as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the main branch rib is provided with a ring at outer portion for connecting with the hook of the supplementary rib.
