Boxer short-type underwear article and production method thereof

Abstract

A boxer short-type article of lingerie having a trunk part made from a loose-fitting textile and leg parts, made of a form-fitting textile. The article is preferably made by circular knitting. The leg part is made using the same stitch as the trunk part but with the introduction of a spandex yarn.

1 . A boxer short-type article of lingerie comprising a trunk part, being made of a loose-fitting textile, and leg parts being made of a form-fitting textile.  
   
   
       2 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein said article is a knitted article.  
   
   
       3 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein said article is a circular knit article.  
   
   
       4 . The article of  claim 2 , wherein said the leg part is made using a spandex yarn and the same stitch as said trunk part.  
   
   
       5 . The article of  claim 1 , further comprising a welt and a waistband.  
   
   
       6 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein the limit between said trunk part said leg part is a substantially horizontal line passing through an upper part of the crotch.  
   
   
       7 . A method of manufacturing a boxer short-type article of lingerie having a trunk part being made of a loose-fitting textile and leg parts being made of a form-fitting textile comprising circular knitting a bottom welt and a waistband, and knitting the leg part with a yarn having an elasticity higher than the elasticity of the yarn used for knitting the trunk part.  
   
   
       8 . The method according to  claim 7 , wherein the yarn presenting a higher elasticity is obtained through plating a non-elastic yarn with an elastic yarn.
