The general purpose of the present invention, is to provide a new type of athletic equipment to be utilized for the exercise of abdominal and oblique muscles of the human body and has features such as adjustable hand and feet holds, as well as adjustable shoulder guards to provide the user with a form fit. The invention comprises two sections of one inch webbing 80-118 inches in length which are parallel to and connected by sections of one and one-half inch wide webbing. An individual will sit in the center of the straps looping their feet at on end, laying their back on the straps and looping their hands at the other end, enabling them to have the apparatus form fit their body while they perform abdominal crunches, leg lifts and oblique exercises.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An adjustable abdominal exerciser apparatus, in combination:
 1. Two sections of one inch webbing 80-118 inches in length which are situated parallel to each other and connected by three sections of 1½ inch wide webbing sewn equidistant and parallel to each other and perpendicular to the two longer sections of 1 inch webbing.
 a. The 80-118 inch webbing allows for different body heights to utilize the same apparatus.
   2. Two additional sections of 1½ inch wide webbing each 16½ inches in length sewn as in an “X” shaped pattern onto the areas of the apparatus where the two outermost parallel sections of 1½ inch wide webbing are sewn to the two parallel sections of 1 inch webbing, and they are also sewn to each other where they cross and at and onto the middle piece of the three parallel sections of 1½ inch wide webbing.
 a. The “X” shaped pattern allows for additional support of the buttocks while using the apparatus and a target for proper placement while using the apparatus.
   3. At each end of the two one inch wide sections of webbing hand holds and foot holds are formed by the utilization of four small plastic adjusters whose dimensions are 1½ inches by 1¼ inches.
 a. The hand holds provide the user of the abdominal apparatus a way to hold on to the apparatus while doing the exercises.
 b. The foot holds allow the user of the apparatus a place for their feet to lock into position while doing the exercise.
 c. The plastic adjusters also allow the apparatus to be utilized by different body heights.
   4. Additionally, at the location below each of the hand holds a 5½ inches by 1⅜ inches adjustable shoulder protector is attached.
 a. The shoulder protector provides the user protection against the straps pressing in on their shoulders.
