Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . Shoe components, comprising
an upper which includes a sock; a lower; and an attaching means for removably attaching the upper and the lower.

2 . The shoe components of claim 1 , in which the sock is formed at least partially from neoprene.

3 . The shoe components of claim 1 , in which a bottom of the sock includes a gripping non-slip material.

4 . The shoe components of claim 3 , in which a bottom of the sock includes a gripping non-slip material in a tread pattern.

5 . The shoe components of claim 1 , in which the attaching means comprises:
 a zipper.

6 . The shoe components of claim 1 , further comprising:
means for securing the upper and the lower.

         7 . A kit comprising:
a package; and a plurality of uppers contained within the package.

8 . The kit of claim 7 , in which each of the uppers is adapted for attachment to a specific lower.

9 . The kit of claim 8 , in which each upper comprises a respective attaching means for selectively attaching and detaching the respective upper to the lower.

10 . The kit of claim 7 , further comprising:
at least one lower to which each of the uppers is adapted for attachment, in which the at least one lower is contained within the package.

11 . The kit of claim 10 , in which the lower comprises:
a sole which is at least partially composed of rubber.

12 . The kit of claim 10 , in which the lower comprises:
a sole which is at least partially composed of EVA.

13 . The kit of claim 7 , further comprising:
a plurality of different lowers, and in which each of the uppers is adapted for attachment to each of the plurality of different lowers.

14 . The kit of claim 7 , in which the plurality of uppers comprises three uppers.

15 . The kit of claim 7 , in which at least one of the uppers includes a sock.

         16 . Shoe components, comprising
an upper which includes a sock formed at least partially from neoprene,
 in which a bottom of the sock includes a gripping non-slip material;
a lower which includes a rubber sole; a zipper for removably attaching the upper and the lower; and means for securing the upper and the lower.

17 . The shoe components of claim 16 , in which a row of teeth of the zipper is attached to the upper, and in which another row of teeth of the zipper is attached to the lower.

18 . The shoe components of claim 16 , in which the means for securing the upper and the lower comprises:
 a strap having two ends,
in which one of the ends of the strap is attached to the lower, and
in which the other of the ends of the strap is removably affixable to the lower.

19 . The shoe components of claim 18 , in which the means for securing the upper and the lower comprises:
a loop for receiving the other of the ends of the strap, whereby the other of the ends of the strap is frictionally engaged when wrapped around the loop.

20 . The shoe components of claim 18 , in which
the one of the ends of the strap is attached to a middle portion of a first side of the lower; and the other of the ends of the strap is attached to a middle portion of a side opposite the first side the lower.
