Abstract

A frame for covering a rim of a computer monitor having a first and second side members and a coupler that interconnects and restricts relative movement between the side members. The frame further includes a face separable from the coupler that obscures (a) at least a portion of the coupler and (b) at least a portion of an end of each of the side members from a view of a user of the monitor. The side member also includes a decorative pattern, which shares a theme with an electronic image that can be displayed on the monitor.

1 . A frame for covering a rim of an computer monitor display, comprising: 
 first and second side members;    a coupler that interconnects and restricts relative movement between the side members;    a face separable from the coupler that obscures (a) at least a portion of the coupler and (b) at least a portion of an end of each of the side members from a view of a user of the monitor.    
   
   
       2 . The frame of  claim 1  wherein the coupler comprises the rim.  
   
   
       3 . The frame of  claim 1  wherein the coupler comprises a strip of material upon which is disposed at least one portion of a hook and loop connector.  
   
   
       4 . The frame of  claim 1  wherein the face is separable from both of the side members.  
   
   
       5 . The frame of  claim 1  wherein the face is inseparable from one of the side members.  
   
   
       6 . The frame of  claim 1  wherein the first side member has a different length from the second side member.  
   
   
       7 . The frame of  claim 1  wherein the first side member includes a corner.  
   
   
       8 . The frame of  claim 1  wherein the first side member includes two corners.  
   
   
       9 . The frame of  claim 1 , wherein the first side member has a trapezoid shape.  
   
   
       10 . The frame of  claim 1 , further comprising a hook and loop coupling between the face and the side members.  
   
   
       11 . The frame of  claim 1 , further comprising an adhesive coupling between the face and the side members.  
   
   
       12 . The frame of  claim 11 , wherein the adhesive is disposed on a tape.  
   
   
       13 . The frame of  claim 1 , further comprising a pocket disposed on the first side member.  
   
   
       14 . The frame of  claim 1 , further comprising a decorative covering on the first side member.  
   
   
       15 . The frame of  claim 14 , wherein the decorative covering comprises a fabric.  
   
   
       16 . The frame of  claim 14 , wherein the decorative covering comprises a printed image.  
   
   
       17 . The frame of  claim 14 , wherein the decorative covering comprises an animal print.  
   
   
       18 . The frame of  claim 14 , wherein the decorative covering has a texture that simulates animal fur.  
   
   
       19 . The frame of  claim 14 , wherein the decorative covering simulate a surface of a basketball.  
   
   
       20 . The frame of  claim 1 , wherein the members comprises of picture frame moulding.  
   
   
       21 . A computer monitor display system, comprising: 
 a monitor frame according to  claim 1 , wherein the first member has a decorative pattern; and    an electronic image that can be displayed on the monitor.    
   
   
       21 . The system of  claim 21 , wherein the electronic image is displayed on the monitor as at least one of a wallpaper and a screen saver.  
   
   
       22 . The system of  claim 21 , wherein the decorative pattern shares a theme with the electronic image.  
   
   
       23 . The system of  claim 21 , wherein the decorative pattern extends the electronic image.
