Artificial hair or doll's hair

Abstract

Improved artificial hair or doll's hair which mainly consists of a synthetic support ( 2 ), preferably in the form of a monofilament, which is provided with a coating ( 3 ), characterized in that the coating ( 3 ) contains at least a polymer of a diisocyanate and a diol.

1 . An artificial hair or doll's hair comprising a synthetic support, preferably in the form of a monofilament, having a coating comprising at least a polymer of a diisocyanate and a diol.  
   
   
       2 . The improved artificial hair or doll's hair according to  claim 1 , wherein the diisocyanate is an aliphatic diisocyanate.  
   
   
       3 . The improved artificial hair or doll's hair according to  claim 1 , wherein the coating comprises a polyurethane.  
   
   
       4 . The improved artificial hair or doll's hair according to  claim 3 , wherein the coating comprises of a 1- or 2-component polyurethane.  
   
   
       5 . The improved artificial hair or doll's hair according to  claim 4 , wherein the polyurethane is a chemical or viscose polyurethane.  
   
   
       6 . The improved artificial hair or doll's hair according to  claim 1 , wherein the synthetic support is made of a polyester.  
   
   
       7 . The improved artificial hair or doll's hair according to  claim 6 , wherein the synthetic support comprises polyethylene terephthalate (PETP).  
   
   
       8 . The improved artificial hair or doll's hair according to  claim 1 , wherein the synthetic support comprises a polyamide.  
   
   
       9 . The improved artificial hair or doll's hair according to  claim 1 , wherein the synthetic support comprises fancy acryl.  
   
   
       10 . The improved artificial hair or doll's hair according to  claim 1 , wherein the thickness of the artificial hair is between one tenth and four hundredths of a millimeter.  
   
   
       11 . The improved artificial hair or doll's hair according to  claim 1 , wherein aerogel particles are distributed in the coating.  
   
   
       12 . A method for manufacturing improved artificial hair or doll's hair according to  claim 1 , comprising the steps: providing a synthetic support, with at least one coating which contains at least a polymer of a diisocyanate and a diol.  
   
   
       13 . The method according to  claim 12 , wherein the synthetic support is in the form of a monofilament.  
   
   
       14 . The method according to  claim 12 , wherein the synthetic support is coated several times with a coating which contains at least a polymer of a diisocyanate and a diol.  
   
   
       15 . The method according to  claim 12 , wherein aerogel particles are distributed in the coating.
