A grill engaging element extends from the housing for supporting the housing on the grill over the heat source. The grill engaging element defines a passage leading to an opening in a bottom of the housing, permitting heated air to flow from the heat source into the interior of the oven. The oven has a door providing access to the interior cooking area, as well as a vent leading from a top of the housing. The cooking oven is configured to be located over burners of the grill for cooking food items.
