Pet carrier with wheels

Abstract

A carrier bag construction includes a telescoping handle mounted on a bracket with a portion of the bracket extending along the bottom edge of the bag and cooperative with a generally rigid bottom panel. A foldable front and top panel are detachable from flexible side panels to enable multiple carriers to be nested together for storage, packaging or the like.

1 . A carrier bag construction comprising, in combination: 
 a back side panel with a bottom edge and a bottom panel attached to the bottom edge to define a juncture and extending generally transversely therefrom;    a bag transport wheel assembly mounted on the bag at the juncture;    a telescoping handle on the back side panel extending upwardly from the juncture;    a generally rigid, supplemental, generally planar plate bottom panel support extending transversely from the juncture including a bottom panel support skeg;    a first lateral side panel attached to the back side panel along a side thereof;    a second lateral side panel attached to the back side panel along a side opposite the first lateral side panel;    a combination front and top side panel in the form of a flap attached at a lower flap end to the bottom side panel and removably attachable along the remaining periphery of said flap to the first and second lateral side panels and the top side of the back side panel and foldable between a first attached position to form an enclosure and a second detached position to expose substantially the full enclosure with the back side, bottom side and lateral sides forming a container for nesting a substantially identical carrier bag having bottom sides in abutting array or opposed array.    
   
   
       2 . The bag of  claim 1  including a front side panel with a mesh subpanel therein.  
   
   
       3 . The bag of  claim 4  wherein the mesh subpanel is at least partially detachable.  
   
   
       4 . The carrier bag of  claim 1  wherein the bottom panel support includes a reinforcing grid extending from the wheel assembly with a skeg.  
   
   
       5 . The carrier of  claim 1  further including a leash having a first end attached to the telescoping handle and a second end extending into the enclosure.  
   
   
       6 . The carrier of  claim 5  wherein the telescoping handle comprises a tubular member attached to the back side panel, and the leash comprises a strap affixed about the tubular member.
