Handling method of body fluid sample and analysis apparatus using the same

Abstract

Sample sampling to an analysis apparatus 200 or 820 for analyzing a biochemical analysis item is performed by a pipetting device 202 or 840 which uses a repetitively used pipette nozzle, and sample sampling to an analysis apparatus 100 or 810 for analyzing an immune analysis item is performed by a pipetting device 102 or 830 which uses a disposable nozzle tip. A sample bottle containing a sample to be analyzed on both of a biochemical analysis item and an immune analysis item is sample-pipetted by the nozzle tip first, and then transported so as to be sample-pipetted by the pipette nozzle.

1 . An analysis apparatus for a body liquid sample comprising an analysis unit having: 
 a sample bottle for containing a body fluid sample;    a pipette for sampling said sample to transfer said sampled sample to another sample bottle; and    a pipette for mixing a reagent according to an analysis item to said transferred body liquid sample, which further comprises:    a plurality of analysis units corresponding to analysis items having different avoiding levels of carry-over between the body liquid samples; and    a controller for controlling sampling of the same body liquid sample so that sampling of sample in an analysis unit used for an analysis item having a higher avoiding level of carry-over is executed before sampling of sample in an analysis unit used for an analysis item having a lower avoiding level of carry-over.    
   
   
       2 . An analysis apparatus for a body liquid sample according to  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of analysis units corresponding to analysis items having different avoiding levels of carry-over are analysis units capable of being installed apart from one another.  
   
   
       3 . An analysis apparatus for a body liquid sample according to  claim 2 , which comprises a transportation line for transporting a sample bottle containing said body fluid sample between said plurality of analysis units.

An analysis apparatus for a body liquid sample according to  claim 1 , wherein said analysis unit used for the analysis item having the higher avoiding level of carry-over is an analysis unit for measuring a label substance after an immune reaction of a substance in the sample to be measured with the label substance, and said analysis unit used for the analysis item having the lower avoiding level of carry-over is an analysis unit for measuring an optical characteristic of a reaction solution produced by a chemical reaction of the sample with a reagent.
