Abstract

A hair extension kit may include a container configured to include multiple components for installing hair extensions. Within the container may be included a hair weft having a base with hair extending therefrom and double-sided tape configured to have a substantially planar portion. The double-sided tape may have a length of at least three inches and a height of at least one inch. The double-sided tape may be medical grade quality. A hair extension replenish kit may also be provided to include additional supplies to reuse the hair weft provided in the hair extension kit, thereby forming a hair extension system. The hair weft and double-sided tape may be configured such that no additional fasteners are used to secure the hair weft to a wearer's hair.

1 . A hair extension kit, comprising: 
 a container configured to include multiple components for installing hair extensions;    a hair weft having a base with hair extending therefrom; and    double-sided tape configured to have a substantially planar portion as included in said container.    
   
   
       2 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 1 , wherein said double-sided tape includes a first adhesive side and a second adhesive side, each side having a non-adhesive sheet adhered thereto.  
   
   
       3 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 1 , wherein the double-sided tape has a length of at least three inches and a height of at least one inch.  
   
   
       4 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 1 , wherein said double-sided tape is of medical grade quality.  
   
   
       5 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 1 , further comprising a clip configured to connect said hair weft with natural hair of a user.  
   
   
       6 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 5 , wherein said clip includes a surface onto which said double-sided tape can be adhered.  
   
   
       7 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 1 , further comprising instructions for installing at least one hair extension using said hair weft and said double-sided tape.  
   
   
       8 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 1 , further comprising a remover solution for removing the hair extensions from a person's hair.  
   
   
       9 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 8 , wherein the remover solution is composed of a solution that leaves substantially no residue when applied to a person's hair.  
   
   
       10 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 1 , wherein said double-sided tape includes at least one demarcation to provide a guide for a user to separate said double-sided tape.  
   
   
       11 . A hair extension kit, comprising: 
 a container configured to include multiple components for installing hair extensions;    a hair weft having a base with hair extending therefrom; and    double-sided tape being medical grade quality.    
   
   
       12 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 11 , wherein said double-sided tape includes a first adhesive side and a second adhesive side, each side having a non-adhesive sheet adhered thereto.  
   
   
       13 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 11 , wherein said double-sided tape has portion being substantially planer.  
   
   
       14 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 13 , wherein the substantially planer portion of said double-sided tape has a length of at least three inches and a height of at least one inch.  
   
   
       15 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 11 , further comprising a clip configured to connect the hair weft with natural hair of a user.  
   
   
       16 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 15 , wherein said clip includes a surface onto which double-sided tape can be adhered.  
   
   
       17 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 11 , further comprising instructions for installing at least one hair extension using said hair weft and said double-sided tape.  
   
   
       18 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 11 , further comprising a remover solution for removing the hair extensions from a person's hair.  
   
   
       19 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 18 , wherein the remover solution is composed of a solution that leaves substantially no residue when applied to a person's hair.  
   
   
       20 . The hair extension kit according to  claim 11 , wherein said double-sided tape has at least one demarcation disposed thereon to provide a guide for a user to separate said double-sided tape.  
   
   
       21 . A method of assembling a hair extension kit, comprising: 
 providing a container configured to include multiple components for installing hair extensions;    including a hair weft into the container;    including a double-sided tape configured to have a substantially planar portion; and    including a remover solution to remove the double-sided tape when applied to a person's natural hair.    
   
   
       22 . The method according to  claim 21 , wherein said including a double-sided tape includes including a double-sided tape having a length of at least three inches and a height of at least one inch.  
   
   
       23 . The method according to  claim 21 , wherein said including a double-sided tape includes including a double-sided tape of medical grade quality.  
   
   
       24 . The method according to  claim 21 , further comprising including a clip configured to connect the hair weft with natural hair of a user.  
   
   
       25 . The method according to  claim 24 , wherein said including a clip includes including a clip having a surface onto which double-sided tape can be adhered.  
   
   
       26 . The method according to  claim 21 , further comprising including instructions for installing at least one hair extension using the hair weft and the double-sided tape.  
   
   
       27 . The method according to  claim 21 , further comprising including a remover solution for removing the hair extensions from a person's hair.  
   
   
       28 . The method according to  claim 27 , wherein said including a remover solution includes including a remover solution composed of a solution that leaves substantially no residue when applied to a person's hair.  
   
   
       29 . The method according to  claim 21 , wherein said including a double-sided tape includes including a double-sided tape having at least one demarcation disposed thereon to provide a guide for a user to separate the double-sided tape.  
   
   
       30 . A hair extension system, comprising: 
 a hair extension kit including a hair weft and double-sided tape for installing at least a portion of the hair weft to the hair of a user; and    a hair extension replenish kit including double-sided tape and remover solution for removing the double-sided tape from the hair of the user.    
   
   
       31 . The hair extension system according to  claim 30 , wherein said hair extension kit further includes remover solution for removing the double-sided tape from the hair of the user.
