Abstract

A novel CC chemokine which is from a mammal, reagents related thereto including purified proteins, specific antibodies, and nucleic acids encoding said chemokine. A chemokine receptor is also provided. Methods of using said reagents and diagnostic kits are also provided.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An isolated polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 4.

2 . A fusion protein comprising the polypeptide of claim 1 fused to a heterologous protein.

3 . The fusion protein of claim 2 wherein the heterologous protein is a member selected from the group consisting of bacterial β-galactosidase, trpE, protein A, β-lactamase, alpha amylase, alcohol dehydrogenase, FLAG, yeast alpha mating factor and luciferase.

4 . The polypeptide of claim 1 which is chemically labeled.

5 . The polypeptide of claim 1 wherein the label is a member selected from the group consisting of phosphate, sulfate and biotin.

6 . The polypeptide of claim 1 which is glycosylated.

7 . The polypeptide of claim 1 which is deglycosylated.

8 . A composition comprising the polypeptide of claim 1 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
