. The holder according to claim 1 , wherein the container is a nail polish bottle.

. The holder according to claim 1 , wherein the stabilizing material comprises particulate matter.

. The holder according to claim 3 , wherein the stabilizing material comprises beads.

. The holder according to claim 3 , wherein the particulate matter comprises at least one material selected from the group consisting of gel, paper, plastic, Styrofoam, metal, and wood.

. The holder according to claim 3 , wherein the particulate matter comprises polystyrene.

. The holder according to claim 3 , wherein the particulate matter comprises stainless steel.

. The holder according to claim 1 , wherein the casing comprises at least one material selected from the group consisting of cotton, wool, silk, polyester, nylon, vinyl, and leather.

. The holder according to claim 1 , wherein the casing is decorative.

. The holder according to claim 1 , further in combination with a nail polish bottle positioned in a vertical or non-vertical position.

. A method of stabilizing a container in a non-vertical position, comprising positioning a container in a non-vertical position in the holder of claim 1 .

. The method according to claim 11 , wherein the holder is placed on an irregular or unstable surface.

. The method according to claim 11 , wherein the container is a nail polish bottle.

. The method according to claim 11 , wherein the container is positioned in a diagonal position.

. The method according to claim 11 , wherein the container is positioned in a substantially horizontal position.
