. A pollen or insect screen comprising a rail comprising at least three substantially parallel guides extending in a longitudinal direction of the rail, and at least five substantially parallel screen strips movably mounted in the guides.
. The screen according to claim 8 , wherein each of said guides extends substantially an entire length of the rail, and at least one screen strip is received in the guide in such a way that the at least one screen strip is slidable substantially said entire length.
. The screen according to claim 8 , wherein the rail is fixed to a substrate above an opening in a building, and said rail is fixed by means of bolts, fastening tapes, double-sided adhesive strips, and fastening devices having a recess into which the rail can be hung.
. The screen according to claim 10 , wherein said fastening devices comprise a bottom plate comprising said recess, and said bottom plate is emplaced on a base plate, and the base plate is adhered to the substrate by an adhesive strip.
. The screen according to claim 11 , wherein the adhesive strip is a stretch-release adhesive strip.
. The screen according to claim 11 , wherein the rail, the bottom plate and/or the base plate is made of plastic, wood, glass, metal or Eloxal.
. The screen according to claim 13 , wherein the rail, the bottom plate and/or the base plate is made of a material selected from the group consisting of polyolefin, polyethylene terephthalate, polystyrene, ABS, polyester, polyamide, PMMA, polycarbonate, PVC and Resopal.
. The screen according to claim 8 , wherein the guides are slots, and the slots receive a thickened part of a free end of each screen strip.
. The screen according to claim 15 , wherein at least a part of a wall of at least one slot comprises a lip-shaped part capable of enclosing the thickened part of the free end of at least one screen strip.
. A method of screening an opening of a building against the ingress of pollen or insects, said method comprising applying a screen according to claim 8 above said opening.
. The method according to claim 17 , wherein the opening is a window.
. The method according to claim 17 , wherein the opening is a door.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
