Use of siloxane to recondition siding

Abstract

A method of reconditioning siding is disclosed. In one such method, siloxane is provided and applied to siding on a building. The siloxane may be applied by spraying the siloxane on the siding, or placing the siloxane on a cloth and rubbing the cloth on the siding.

1 . A method of reconditioning siding, comprising: 
 providing siloxane;    applying the siloxane to siding on a building.    
   
   
       2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the siloxane is sprayed on the siding.  
   
   
       3 . The method of  claim 2 , further comprising: 
 providing the siloxane in a canister;    pressurizing the canister;    allowing the siloxane to leave the canister via a nozzle.    
   
   
       4 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising: 
 placing the siloxane on a cloth;    rubbing the cloth on the siding.    
   
   
       5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the siloxane is provided as a mixture and the method includes allowing a carrier in the mixture to evaporate after the mixture is applied to the siding.
