Abstract

A decorative finial structure for curtain rods comprises a decoration unit and an assembly unit wherein the decoration unit has a decorative layer of various designs and colors wrapped at the outer surface of a main body thereon, and the assembly unit is made up of a sealing cap with a stop ring and a coupling sleeve with a protrusive ring to be mounted at both ends of the main body of the decoration unit thereby. A fixing rod is adapted at the interior of the main body of the decoration unit and respectively engaged with the sealing cap and the coupling sleeve thereof before a retaining member is securely screwed to the fixing rod extending outwards at the other side of the main body thereof to provide a curtain decorative finial made up of the decoration unit and the assembly unit that are separately made each from the other. Therefore, the curtain decorative finial thereof can achieve variation in style simply by changing the decoration unit individually processed and replaced without the assembly unit being processed or replaced as a whole set therewith, economically saving the cost of mould-casting and replacement thereof. Furthermore, the decorative layer of the main body thereof can also facilitate versatile and limitless stylistic changes of the curtain decorative finial thereof.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A decorative finial structure for curtain rods, comprising a decoration unit and an assembly unit wherein the decoration unit has a decorative layer of various stylistic designs and colors wrapped at the outer surface of a main body thereon, and the assembly unit is made up of a sealing cap with a stop ring and a coupling sleeve with a protrusive ring to be mounted at both ends of the main body of the decoration unit thereby; the assembly unit also includes a fixing rod adapted to the interior of the main body of the decoration unit and respectively engaged with the sealing cap and the coupling sleeve before a retaining member is securely screwed up to the fixing rod extending outwards at the other side of the main body thereof to provide a curtain decorative finial made up of the decoration unit and the assembly unit thereof.

2 . The decorative finial structure for curtain rods according to claim 1 wherein the sealing cap and the coupling sleeve thereof are respectively matched with the inner diameter of the main body of the decoration unit for secure mutual engagement therewith, and at one side of the sealing cap and at the middle section of the coupling sleeve are respectively disposed a stop ring and a protrusive ring thereof.

3 . The decorative finial structure for curtain rods according to claim 1 wherein at the center of the sealing cap and the coupling sleeve are respectively disposed a screw hole and a coupling hole to mate with the fixing rod for secure registration therewith.

4 . The decorative finial structure for curtain rods according to claim 1 wherein the retaining member is equipped with a central thru-hole, and a polygonal limiting groove defining the other side of the central thru-hole for a screw nut to mount and locate therein.

5 . The decorative finial structure for curtain rods according to claim 1 wherein the outer spherical surface of the retaining member is annularly surrounded by a plurality of resilient ribs that, each having an arcuate guide facet defining at one end thereof, figure an outer diameter larger than the inner diameter of a curtain rod.

6 . The decorative finial structure for curtain rods according to claim 1 wherein the main body of the decoration unit is provided with a stop flange defining both ends thereof respectively.

7 . The decorative finial structure for curtain rods according to claim 1 wherein the decorative layer of the decoration unit is preferably made of leather material.

8 . The decorative finial structure for curtain rods according to claim 1 wherein the decorative layer of the decoration unit can be fastened to the outer surface of the main body thereon.

9 . The decorative finial structure for curtain rods according to claim 1 wherein the decorative layer of the decoration unit can also be spirally wound around the outer surface of the main body thereof.
