Device for storing and transporting unit loads and insert for said device

Abstract

At least one insert ( 6 ) for insertion into a bag ( 3 ) for receiving a discrete article, said insert ( 6 ) being preferably located in a portion of the bag taking up substantially the main load of the discrete article and being moveable relative to the bag, securable to the bag and removable from the bag. The invention also includes a device for storing and transporting discrete articles, having at least one bag ( 3 ) in which the discrete article can be received, wherein it comprises at least one insert ( 6 ), as described above, in the region of the bag ( 3 ) taking up substantially the main load of the discrete article, said insert being movable relative to the bag and detachably secured to the bag ( 3 ).

         17 . At least one insert ( 6 ) for insertion into a bag ( 3 ) for receiving a discrete article, said insert ( 6 ) taking up substantially the main load of the discrete article and being moveable relative to the bag, securable to the bag and removable from the bag.  
     
     
         18 . An insert according to  claim 17 , wherein the insert ( 6 ) is in conjunction with and detachably secured to the bag ( 3 ).  
     
     
         19 . An insert according to  claim 18 , wherein the insert is secured to the bag ( 3 ) with double-sided adhesive tape.  
     
     
         20 . An insert according to  claim 18  wherein a hook-and-burr type closure is provided for securing the insert ( 6 ) to the bag ( 3 ).  
     
     
         21 . A plurality of inserts according to  claim 17 , in conjunction with and detachably secured to a plurality of bags in a device for storing and transporting discrete articles.  
     
     
         22 . An insert according to  claim 17  wherein a plurality of inserts ( 6 ) are provided one above the other in conjunction with a bag ( 3 ), in which case preferably the insert ( 6 ) lowest down is secured to the bag ( 3 ), while the other inserts are each detachably secured to the insert ( 6 ) below them.  
     
     
         23 . An insert according to  claim 17  wherein the at least one insert ( 6 ) is displaceable relative to the region of the bag ( 3 ) which takes up substantially the main load of the discrete article.  
     
     
         24 . An insert according to  claim 23 , wherein the insert ( 6 ) takes the form of a strip.  
     
     
         25 . An insert according to  claim 24  wherein the strip is a continuous strip.  
     
     
         26 . An insert according to  claim 18  wherein a brush device ( 7 ) is provided in conjunction with the insert for cleaning the at least one insert ( 6 ).  
     
     
         27 . An insert according to  claim 26 , wherein the at least one insert ( 6 ) engages with the brush device ( 7 ) and the brush device ( 7 ) and the at least one insert ( 6 ) are movable relative to one another.  
     
     
         28 . An insert according to  claim 27  wherein the insert is in the form of a strip that may be moved past the brush device ( 7 ).  
     
     
         29 . An insert according to  claim 26  wherein the brush device ( 7 ) is connected to electrical ground.  
     
     
         30 . A device for storing and transporting discrete articles, having at least one bag ( 3 ) in which the discrete article can be received, wherein it comprises at least one insert ( 6 ) according to  claim 17  in the region of the bag ( 3 ) taking up substantially the main load of the discrete article, said insert being movable relative to the bag and detachably secured to the bag ( 3 ).  
     
     
         31 . A device according to  claim 30  wherein the insert is secured to the bag ( 3 ) with double-sided adhesive tape.  
     
     
         32 . A device according to  claim 31  wherein hook-and-burr type closure is provided for securing the insert ( 6 ) to the bag ( 3 ).  
     
     
         33 . A device according to  claim 30  wherein a plurality of inserts ( 6 ) are provided.  
     
     
         34 . A device according to  claim 30  wherein a plurality of inserts ( 6 ) are provided one above the other.  
     
     
         35 . A device according to one of  claim 30  wherein the at least one insert ( 6 ) is displaceable in two different directions relative to the region of the bag ( 3 ) which takes up substantially the main load of the discrete article, preferably being displaceable in two different directions.  
     
     
         36 . A device according to  claim 30  wherein a brush device ( 7 ) is provided for cleaning the at least one insert ( 6 ).
