Abstract
A method to prevent a dog from pulling including attaching to the dog a non-sliding neck and body strap. A sliding stop strap is positioned relative to the neck and body straps such that when the dog pulls on a leash attached to the sliding stop strap, this stop strap tightens against the dog's body.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method for preventing a dog from pulling on a leash comprising:
a) attaching a non-sliding neck strap around a neck of said dog; b) attaching a non-sliding body strap around the body of said dog; c) positioning a sliding stop strap relative to said neck strap and said body strap such that when the dog pulls exerting a force on the leash attached to said sliding strap, pressure is exerted on a front chest area of said dog and an upper leg area of said dog.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein step c includes sliding two fader loops onto a selected position on said body strap and securing said sliding stop strap through the fader loops such that the sliding stop strap exerts the force of step c.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein said fader loops may be slid into a selected position using sliders mounted on said body strap.
4 . A method for preventing a dog from pulling on a leash comprising:
providing a sliding stop strap on a harness worn by the dog, said stop strap configured such that when the dog pulls on a leash attached to said harness, pressure is exerted on a front chest area of said dog and an upper leg area of said dog.
5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein said harness includes a means for variably positioning said stop strap on said dog.
6 . The method of claim 4 , wherein said harness includes multiple sliders for variably positioning said stop strap on said dog.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
