Abstract

A glove holder for retaining a work glove or a sport glove on user's clothes in an easily accessible location. The holder has a moisture impermeable panel, which has dimensions greater than an outer periphery of the glove. A securing member is attached to an outside surface of the panel. A second securing member is attached adjacent a cuff portion of the glove. The securing members carry quick-release fasteners allowing ready engagement and disengagement of the glove with the panel. The panel may be secured on a waist belt of the user to provide easy access to the glove by the user.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A holder apparatus for retaining a glove, comprising:
a panel configured to extend outside of an outer periphery of a glove; a securing means attachable to the glove and to the panel, said securing means adapted to detachably secure the glove on the panel.

2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein said panel is formed from a flexible moisture-impermeable material.

3 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein said securing means comprises a first securing member positioned on an outside surface of the panel and a second securing member positioned on the glove, and wherein said first securing member and said second securing member is each provided with securing elements allowing mating engagement of the first securing member and the second securing member.

4 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein said panel is adapted for detachable engagement with a waist belt of a user.

       5 . A holder apparatus for a glove, comprising:
a flexible belt configured for positioning on a torso of a user; a moisture-impermeable panel secured to the belt, said panel carrying a first securing member; and a second securing member positioned on the glove, said second securing member being adapted for mating engagement with the first securing member to thereby facilitate temporary positioning of the glove on the panel.

6 . The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein said panel is sized and shaped to extend outside a periphery of the glove to thereby protect user's clothes from contact with the glove.

7 . The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein said first securing member and said second securing member are provided with hook-and-loop fastening elements to facilitate detachable engagement of the glove to the panel.

8 . The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein said belt is provided with tightening means to accommodate the belt to different size user's torsos.

9 . A method of securing a glove on a user's clothes, comprising the steps of:
providing a moisture-impermeable panel having a first securing member; securing the panel on the user's clothes; providing a second securing member and attaching the second securing member to the glove; engaging the second securing member to the first securing member, thereby suspending the glove on said panel.

10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein said step of providing the moisture impermeable panel comprises a step of providing the panel configured to extend outside of an outer periphery of the glove.

11 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising the step of providing a waist belt for engaging the user's torso and attaching said panel to the waist belt.

12 . The method of claim 9 , wherein said first securing member and said second securing member each carry hop-and-loop fastening elements to facilitate ready engagement and disengagement of the glove with the panel.
