Pocket-equipped shower curtain
Abstract
A pocket-equipped shower curtain includes a generally planar flexible panel having at least two generally transparent sections, an exterior surface and an interior surface and at least two pockets each including an outer wall, the outer wall mounted on the exterior surface of the generally planar flexible panel over the generally transparent sections of the flexible panel. Each of the pockets includes an opening operative to permit the insertion of an object into each pocket, the object thus being viewable from either side of the generally planar flexible panel. Finally, at least two closure devices are mounted adjacent each of openings of the pockets, the closure devices operative to alternatively open and close each opening to generally prevent incursion of fluids into the pockets when the closure devices are closed thereby generally preventing damage to objects placed within the pockets.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A pocket-equipped shower curtain comprising:
a generally planar flexible panel having at least two generally transparent sections, an exterior surface and an interior surface; at least two pockets each including an outer wall, said outer wall mounted on said exterior surface of said generally planar flexible panel over a selected one of said at least two generally transparent sections of said generally planar flexible panel; each of said at least two pockets including at least one opening operative to permit the insertion of an object into each of said at least two pockets, the object being viewable from either side of said generally planar flexible panel; and at least two closure devices each mounted on at least one of said at least two pockets and said generally planar flexible panel, one of said at least two closure devices adjacent each of said at least one openings of said at least two pockets, said at least two closure devices operative to alternatively open and close each of said at least one opening of said at least two pockets to generally prevent incursion of fluids into said at least two pockets when said at least two closure devices have closed each of said at least one opening thereby generally preventing damage to objects placed within said at least two pockets.
2 . The pocket-equipped shower curtain of claim 1 wherein said generally planar flexible panel is constructed of plastic sheeting.
3 . The pocket-equipped shower curtain of claim 1 wherein said outer wall of each of said at least two pockets is constructed of a generally rectangular sheet of transparent plastic affixed at the sides and base thereof to said exterior surface of said generally planar flexible panel, said opening being formed where the top of said outer wall is not affixed to said generally planar flexible panel.
4 . The pocket-equipped shower curtain of claim 3 wherein said outer wall and said generally planar flexible panel may be deformed away from one another to open said opening at said top of said outer wall thereby permitting insertion of an object for display into at least one of said at least two pockets.
5 . The pocket-equipped shower curtain of claim 1 wherein said at least two closure devices each comprise a zipper lock mechanism including a zipper pull operative to releasably close said opening, said zipper lock mechanism operative to generate a generally fluid-type seal which will generally prevent the incursion of water and/or water vapor into the interior of said at least two pockets, whereby objects held within said at least two pockets are generally protected from damage and destruction caused by contact with water or water vapor.
6 . The pocket-equipped shower curtain of claim 1 wherein said at least two closure devices each comprise a flap means mounted on said generally planar flexible panel extending over and releasably covering said opening and flap closure means operative to releasably secure said flap means in an opening covering position whereby objects held within said at least two pockets are generally protected from damage and destruction caused by contact with water or water vapor.
7 . The pocket-equipped shower curtain of claim 1 wherein said at least two pockets have at least one of different longitudinal and transverse size dimensions whereby various sizes of objects are placeable therein.
8 . A pocket-equipped shower curtain comprising:
a generally planar flexible plastic panel having a generally transparent section, an exterior surface and an interior surface; a pocket including an outer plastic wall, said outer plastic wall mounted on said exterior surface of said generally planar flexible plastic panel over said generally transparent section of said generally planar flexible plastic panel; said pocket including at least one opening operative to permit the insertion of an object into said pocket, the object being viewable from either side of said generally planar flexible plastic panel; a closure device mounted on at least one of said pocket and said generally planar flexible plastic panel adjacent said opening of said pocket, said closure device including a zipper lock mechanism including a zipper pull operative to releasably close said opening, said zipper lock mechanism operative to generate a generally fluid-type seal to generally prevent incursion of fluids into said pocket when said closure device has closed said opening thereby generally preventing damage to an object placed within said pocket.
9 . The pocket-equipped shower curtain of claim 8 wherein said outer plastic wall of said pocket is constructed of a generally rectangular sheet of transparent plastic affixed at the sides and base thereof to said exterior surface of said generally planar flexible plastic panel, said opening being formed where the top of said outer plastic wall is not affixed to said generally planar flexible plastic panel.
10 . The pocket-equipped shower curtain of claim 9 wherein said outer plastic wall and said generally planar flexible plastic panel may be deformed away from one another to open said opening at said top of said outer wall thereby permitting insertion of an object for display into at least one of said at least two pockets.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
